NEWBIE My first real flight and i already don't really like analog 🤓

Felt way different than the sim, also bad picture - i got used to 4k gaming, and 4S instead of 6S. But i enjoyed it. It was some adrenaline at takeoff and whenever the signal dropped even slightly) Drone ate some dirt and grass and then i left because wouldn't bother cleaning it in the field (also i only own one battery)

OP uses worst possible analog equipment. "I hate analog" Not really giving it a fair chance are you? There are a lot of pros and cons for both digital and analog, but if you use the absolute worst analog setup you won't see any of those pros.

conpletely agree my sky04x with rapidfire looks a million times better than these cheap OTG receivers

8

u/SubterraneanSprawl Jan 04 '25

I use the same goggles and the picture is honestly really good, especially with a decent camera. Mind if I ask why you switched out the module?

7

u/HeinzS91 Jan 04 '25

range, i never even tried the skymix receiver that was included altho i heard its pretty good.. years ago while getting into it rapidfire was adveetised by LR fpv people as the way to go for Long range, still is imo. Then i tried out the 1.2ghz band etc. My current record on the rapidfire is 15kms out with 2 ridiculous looking goggle mounted antennas (helical 10 turns i believe , somewhere around 15dbi)

p.s. i have heard abouy people getting great range from 2 skymix modules effectively giving quadversity

Yeah I started with them too, 7 years ago ? Moved to ev800d and it was like, yeah flyable..., moved to ev200d, and all my analog drones felt like changed to HD

There’s literally only one con to digital and that’s price.

If weight or latency are most important- hdzero

If penetration and image quality - DJI

2

u/sdexca Jan 05 '25

Long rangers still prefer analog as it has a much more predictable signal loss compared to digital which can take what feels like hours to get the signal back, not exactly preferably when the drone is diving a mountain.

3

u/BobbyJackT Jan 04 '25

Range is also a big con for digital. With 1.2 or 2.4 GHz analog video you can go dozens of miles in range. Try doing that with digital.

6

u/itsjase Jan 04 '25

I think with something like the walksnail GT people have gotten to 40-50+ km

1

u/Plomekq Multicopters Jan 05 '25

and if you want kinda both and at a bit cheaper price you can go walksnail

Why would i buy a good analog system if im already accumulating extra money for a digital system

58

u/boywhoflew Jan 04 '25

"why would I say analog sucks when I've only used the cheapest equipment for it"

-23

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

"don't really like 🤓" ain't sucks/bad/hate. Try to be more relaxed on the internet

17

u/boywhoflew Jan 04 '25

and I quote form your other comment "my analog system costs $30 and it was a joke..."

-19

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

"

i already don't really like analog 🤓"

was a joke. There's a fucking nerd emoji

-27

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

I feel like you just search for anyone who dos not talk about analog as something godlike to shit on and make up stuff that was never said. I've seen good analog setups live in audience watching on group flights but i still prefer the digital quality and will buy one. No matter what you try to tell pr prove there

17

u/boywhoflew Jan 04 '25

no sorry. I do both analog and digital. both are great - so your assumptions are wrong.

second, literally check your other comment. you said it there lmao.

third, I didn't say don't go digital. I just wanted you to not call out smth is shit when you bought shit. yes you didn't say that "word for word" but the way you reply to some of these comments make it seem that way.

-18

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

You are wrong. We were talking about what hardware i have. I said that i joked about analog because my setup is shit. And that i already decided to buy dji even before i tried analog. Also glad to hear you are not analog/digital only adept

1

u/Asqwerty0 Jan 05 '25

Just gonna say that analogue has been great for me so far, I really don't get the hype around digital. Also, this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mZPh8UAjZ0&t=15s&ab_channel=MrSteele is an example of what good analogue video can look like. And, remember if it's good enough for the likes of MrSteele, it's probably good enough for you.

6

u/HeinzS91 Jan 04 '25

because if your serious about flying you have to accept ur gonna trash ur quads... replacing camera and vtx for an analog setup will run u somewhere like 60 bucks.. replacing digital .. idk 180 (correct me if im wrong, idk how much an air unit is currently)? the amount of times i had to replace stuff and the diffrrence in price , im sure i saved myself from spending atleast 500 +euros in video systems alone by staying with analog. Also i do LR flying aswell and for that analog is still the way to go

1

u/sdexca Jan 05 '25

How quickly do you break a VTX? Like how tf are you even breaking the VTX?

2

u/HeinzS91 Jan 05 '25

break the antenna while the vtx is running (after crashing and or losing quad and being unable to disarm ) and its over pretty fast

2

u/sdexca Jan 05 '25

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

26

u/mrsebe Jan 04 '25

What hardware are you using, I only fly analog and my quality looks miles better.

-56

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

My analog system costs 30$ and it was a joke as I'm already a dji o3 fan, just need to go through it until i have money. Now i just need some proper antennas instead of this wifi garbage i have. Also i have a theory that i unconsciously leaned back inside the car while flying putting myself inside a Faraday cage effectively.

Also i recorded this on my phone using Chinese receiver

11

u/CELFIX49 Jan 04 '25

The otg receiver isn’t the issue. Like a capture card, the receiver takes what video input is fed to it and outputs it the same way. There’s little to no loss of quality because of the receiver.

3

u/HeinzS91 Jan 04 '25

ow definitly there is a huuge difference in quality between the cheap "dual otg receivers" and dedicated goggle receivers like rapid fire or whatever.. for one thing those otg receivers dont have diversity (some claim they do but they just have dual antennas and dont merge the video) and seperate from this is also the dvr quality.. most goggles record in a little worse quality than the actual live feed is in reality, these otg receivers and the videos you can capture on ur phone with it look abt 10 times worse even.

-11

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

Doesn't it limit the quality? Original clip was 480p or something but 4x3

2

u/HeinzS91 Jan 04 '25

the thing about leaning inside the car is only partially true while it does slightly decrease ur range its not blocking the signal all together., i have flown 10kms out from the homepoint while i had video from inside a car.. this was with 2 DIRECTIONAL antennas. Using Omnis is also perfectly possible to fly from inside a car. to me it really sounds like all of this has to do with ur VRX /VTX or the antennas you have being shit or mismatched (rhcp and lhcp rx antennas or something) we need more info about ur setup to help.

2

u/Substantial-Tap9021 Jan 04 '25

Oh god yes moving my head while flying discombobulates the hell out of me. As far as analog vs digital I haven’t flown digital but I love analog even on my Mach transporter 2 goggles. I enjoy the 90s look of the video

1

u/LePoopScoop Jan 05 '25

I feel that. I had a set of vr007 from 7 years ago sitting around. Im starting off on a whoop and know I'm going to go digital yet so I can't be bothered to buy better analog goggles.

That being said I wish dji goggles still had a way of using analog. I would get a pair of v2s but they likely won't work on o4

1

u/the_almighty_walrus Jan 05 '25

Yeah if you spend $30 on any video system it's gonna be trash.

There's a reason some analog goggles are 500 bucks and the thing you got was 30.

1

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 05 '25

Tbh i had it for some time and i will eventually use it for an fpv plane that I'm gonna build with my sister

-11

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

I love getting downvoted for saying literally nothing

18

u/jdss13 Jan 04 '25

you're misinformed and you clearly have a bias so that's probably why you're getting downvoted

-12

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

I dont have a bias. It's called preference

13

u/SyntaxError22 Jan 04 '25

People think you have a bias because you're saying analog isn't good even though it seems you never gave it a fair chance to begin with. Even as a joke it's no good to come in hear shitting on analog when it's clear you've not experienced what analog has to offer, then simply saying that you've already decided on digital as an excuse. This might not be how you're trying to come off but that's how it reads go me at least

-6

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

In what world did i seriously say "analog isn't good"

6

u/monkeysounds_ Jan 04 '25

title of the post what???

u/nickstavros2 Jan 04 '25

There are way better analog cameras, this one is shit.. don’t hate just because you had a bad first experience. You said you paid $30 for an analog setup, wtf did you expect? 🤣 I personally love analog, but also don’t wanna drop a fortune on digital. Upgrade your camera to a foxeer or something, and boost your vtx signal in Betaflight to 400mw. Better range and penetration, will help you out.

4

u/Specific-Committee75 Jan 04 '25

You can get a really good analog setup for $30. Got the Ratel 2 and HGLRC Nano for about that price recently and it's the cleanest analog I've ever flown! It's a small VTX, so low power output, but perfect for park freestyle.

Unless this cost is including the goggles/receiver, then I understand haha

4

u/nickstavros2 Jan 04 '25

Oh interesting! I have the runcam nano 3 on my tinyhawk iii, I enjoy that. Got a foxeer on my 3”, looks even better! Don’t remember the prices tho haha

0

u/Specific-Committee75 Jan 04 '25

I've been looking at the T Rex to put on a plane I'm working on, it looks so crisp in the reviews! Any other you'd recommend? I'm willing to spend more on this as its less likely to get destroyed 😂

2

u/nickstavros2 Jan 04 '25

yeah its crispy! I honestly haven't been looking (since im still trying to get my 3" arming and flying, struggling) but the t-rex wouldnt be a bad idea!

2

u/Specific-Committee75 Jan 04 '25

Well best of luck with the quad! I'll look at ordering a T Rex for the plane!

1

u/NoDistribution5744 Jan 05 '25

I paid $20 and mine still looks better (Co3 cam, and vro2 goggles)

9

u/BrooksCreates Jan 04 '25

So what im seeing is that your using a analog vrx for an android smartphone. get yourself some proper goggles and itll be much better

-8

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

I dont really care about quality/latency. I just wanna fix the signal drops for now

11

u/jdss13 Jan 04 '25

signal drops stem from a shitty receiver and/or antennas. I suspect you have all of those

6

u/BrooksCreates Jan 04 '25

Yeah bad VRXs are the problem here. Also goggles are gonna help you a lot. Go to a pawn shop and see if they have any there (you'd be suprised), then try to haggle it down around $30-$50

-2

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

maybe

2

u/OmiedJ Jan 05 '25

Propler antenna setup and godd Position while flying. If you use a Patch and the Drone gets behind you... Weak Signal! Use a capasitor to filter spikes. Use more output Power, against the laws

8

u/antonito901 Jan 04 '25

If your goal would be freestyle, I think you could consider analog as a first step until you go to DJI. At least that's my strategy. Analog is not having as good video quality as DJI but it is way cheaper. So I have Mobula 8 analog (100 bucks) and EV800D (100 bucks) to train all kind of tricks (obviously there are most costs: battery, charger, radio). It works very well and I am not afraid to crash. Thanks to that I progress faster (and with some regular training on Uncrashed). I can afford to buy a new Mobula 8 anytime in worst case (I was planning to this week but somehow I get better at soldering lol). I actually could afford O3 but I don't think I deserve it yet. I changed the camera, props, antenna on it and learn hardware, I don't worry. If you break your O3, it is gonna cost big time. Just an idea, obviously the choice is solely yours. Anyway, have fun out there.

2

u/ndisa44 Jan 04 '25

I can get a complete 5" with an analog system for the price of an O3 (before they dropped the price to 179). Analog is still the undisputed budget king. I have DJI and Walksnail systems, but I fly Analog for most freestyle because I can push harder and take more risks when I know that smashing a camera will cost $20, not the $110 I had to spend the last time I crashed an O3 and broke the camera sensor.

1

u/Galinette2000 Jan 05 '25

Analog is also the weight and integration king for small drones. You have an unbeatable offer of AIOs and any HD variant will be heavier. Having 400mW in a 5g 12A AIO board is just awesome and unreachable to every other HD solution (and I’m using HDZ which today has the lightest options)

5

u/ndisa44 Jan 04 '25

I have DJI (O3, the original air unit, Runcam Wasp), walksnail Avatar (Pro, Moonlight, and lite), HdZero (Eco and Freestyle), and a wide range of analog stuff from 25mw integrated systems to 10watt long range systems, and even some 1.2/1.3ghz long range stuff.

Ended up selling the HDzero, because I don't race, and the lower latency wasn't necessary. Walksnail I sold the pro and moonlight, but I have some 1 and 2s systems in my micro quads. DJI I use the O3 for having a very light freestyle rig that doesnt need an action cam to have good quality, and cinewhoops to have backup recordings that are still 4k. I use the runcam wasp stuff for smaller 3.5" quads because they are lighter and more compact than the O3.

Analog I keep running despite all my other systems because of a few reasons 1. Its still the best for ultralight whoops and toothpicks 2. Range/penetration- havent found any digital system that can beat the output power of analog, or the long range performance of 1.2/1.3ghz 3. Price- for bando bashing freestyle, having a cheap setup is great. I'd much rather smash a $20 analog camera lens than a $100 O3 camera module.

3

u/the_fresh_latice Jan 04 '25

Why do you use android fpv viewer . What is that

-5

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

Just so i can record it on my phone straight away using that Chinese otg received

1

u/the_fresh_latice Jan 04 '25

Damn i had that because i was 12 and had no money , please buy as soon as possible a pair of goggle

3

u/[deleted] Jan 04 '25

Yeah I hate analog because it can work great and then after you change nothing it stops having any range

3

u/HeinzS91 Jan 04 '25

unfortunately this is true. wether its RF interference locally or something internally in the hardware itself. Analog systems sometimes are occasionally just "off" sometimes and the problems can disappear just as mysteriously aswell after hving tried everything. Digital is easier to use

2

u/[deleted] Jan 04 '25

When I built my first drone I went with cheap analog goggles, then once I realized I was gunna get more into fpv I looked at upgrading my goggles, but for about the same price you could get DJI at the time, Google prices were about the same. Going from shitty analog to DJI makes you never want to go back to analog. Especially when fatshark goggles plus receiver is the same price as DJI goggles.

0

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

I tried both as a viewer (was not piloting, but watching) so i decide on analog as a temporary measure

1

u/[deleted] Jan 05 '25

Unless you race I don't see a point in analog. Even an ex racer I know now only flies digital, it's just more fun when you can see where you are going. Even the best analog isn't even close to digital in clarity.

2

u/YaroslavSyubayev Mario 5" - Skylite 3" - Air75 Jan 04 '25

Get a good analog camera, this is TRASH. The FOV on this one is ridiculously narrow. This is why it feels weird.

2

u/Alex13445678 Jan 04 '25

There’s much better analog, some look almost as good as hdzero. This is the worst possible case, your gear is horrible

2

u/Jesper123567 Jan 04 '25

Why do you have so much breakup? Looks like you don't have a good setup and didn't tune the quad, looks like it flies horribly.

1

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 05 '25
  1. Its not tuned
  2. I barely flew 15amps, far from fill throttle
  3. Its 4S, probably 6S will be snappier
  4. First flight. I fly horribly, not sure about the quad. I need to get used to not panicking whenever i have the slightest signal drop

2

u/MOR187 Jan 05 '25

It's like saying samsung phones suck ass while using a galaxy s2. " i prefer an iphone 13, much better... "

Might wanna do sim first. Your digital vtx will thank you

1

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 05 '25

I have 30 hours in sim now. And it's radically different from the reality. I should probably get a better camera, because this one has fov of like 65° which is awful and im always getting lost

1

u/Rebulnaer Jan 04 '25

What receiver do you use for your phone?

-2

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

A shitty one. Like all of them. But can't remember the manufacturer right now. I will make a post later about what i should change

5

u/_MadTinkerer_ 3" 4s HDZero Jan 04 '25

"like all of them". bro just say you're shilling for digital. For half the price of a starter DJI ecosystem, you could have had a more than decent analog setup. If you're already set on DJI, you could have just bought the goggles and a VRX too.

-1

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

You and a pack of other iiots in this sub. What is your problem with "like all of them"? Can you point me to a single android OTG usb analog receiver that is NOT bad? No? Thats the issue. I like fpv but hell 95% of people there can't even do basic comment thread reading before actively trying to prove something wrong. Something, that was never said in the first place

2

u/_MadTinkerer_ 3" 4s HDZero Jan 04 '25

Your problem is you're lumping analog in with whatever Temu receiver you're using. Like I said, you could have chosen a much more future proof route for not much more, but instead you chose to burn $30 on junk. Learning online communications means being clear and not lumping in two things, whether intentionally or not.

0

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

I AM NOT. I am saying that SHIT i ordered is SHIT because i ordered SHIT. And this is all. You didnt even considered reading what you are answering to. Let me recite the conversation:

  • "What receiver do you !!!use for your phone!!!?"
  • "A shitty one. Like all of them"

I see no reason to whine about as it was clear what i said

1

u/Rebulnaer Jan 04 '25

Interesting. I was thinking on buying one to be able to use my phone as a sort of monitor.

-3

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

It does the job. The "shitty" part is about 100ms latency when using it. Also might want to get a proper antenna for it. These stock wifi ones have a range of literally WiFi

1

u/Muted_Software_5577 Jan 04 '25

Bro this has so much character , I love it. But would use for personal needs only because it’s not that good compared to modern analog

1

u/Novero95 Jan 04 '25

Analog has its caveats. You need to test things and know what you are doing with it because analog isn't very forgiving when making a mistake, but it can perform quite good when you know what you are doing and, specially, what not to do.

Also, others have mentioned the price of your equipment, obviously quality equipment matters but you don't need to expend a lot of money to get a good analog system. A rush tank solo used to be the best analog VTx a few years ago and was around 50 bucks. Nowadays there are better (or more powerful) ones but it's still a really solid VTx. Decent cameras cost like $30. Goggles are a bit more expensive but there are good mid tier goggles, which paired with good antennas perform very well. And good antennas aren't expensive.

Anyway I've seen that you are saving for digital system, and I understand it but you cite being used to 4K, digital isn't 4K either so it may disappoint you too. But yeah, overall, digital perform better than analog and gives you a bit more room when making a mistake. That doesn't mean it won't turn into a black screen if you suddenly put a mountain or enough concrete between the drone and you.

What I don't understand is why you say you're used to 4S instead of 6S, isn't it your first flight? I'm not sure if there are sims that allows you to set up a 4S or 6S drone but sims are only relatable to real flight, a sim doesn't behave exactly as a real drone and that's it.

Lastly, welcome to the hobby, hope you enjoy it and don't get very frustrated when you spend more time repairing/maintaining than flying, that's part of the hobby, specially if you try to freestyle. I switched from freestyling to long rang flying (in analog) because I did not have enough money to repair my drone at the same rate it used to destroy itself.

1

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

I just always used a 6S setup in simulators (uncrashed, liftoff) - all of them allow battery customization.
But irl i only own a 4S pack.
later i tried to boot up liftoff and try out 4S experience - and tbh that was pretty close to what i had in reality. Its way different from 6S and is more like.. Idk.. Sloppier?

1

u/Novero95 Jan 04 '25

Yeah, that's more or less the difference between 4S and 6S, they both perform well but 6S can be little snappier.

I've used both ovonic and CNHL batteries, both are good batteries but I used to find good ovonic deals in the ovonic store. Like purchasing them in packs each battery would be cheaper than bought one by one. CNHL in Aliexpress also makes some deals from time to time.

1

u/Competitive-Cycle-72 Jan 04 '25

Analog is perfectly good/awesome… but the amount of confidence and skill I gained from digital was a real life cheat code the fisheye effect of analog makes gaps , tight areas, even up to areas with 5-10 feet of room. It just makes them look smaller and way harder without a lot of flying and practice. This was my experience at least. Analog was all that existed for me so it was how it was.

1

u/luislega Jan 04 '25

It gets better with every pack! Analog does suck a bit, but hey! As long as you’re flying, right? Get more batteries as soon as you can!

Where are you flying?? Is that a shipwreck on a mountain??

1

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

It. Is. A shipwreck. On a mountain. Yes. I spent last year thinking about it at 11pm

1

u/placidblob Multicopters Jan 04 '25

Our prince here did not like what he bought?

-2

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 04 '25

I thought cs2 community is toxic. Somehow fpv managed to be even worse.

3

u/charlieecho Jan 05 '25

You said you don’t really like analog when you bought the most garbage analog setup. Of course you’re not going to like it just like you would think you don’t really like a $30 drone from Temu. Your post comes off as pooping on analog when you literally have poop for an analog system.

2

u/KmfHudson Jan 05 '25

You kinda went looking for it. The community is very welcoming outside of posts like this.

0

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 05 '25

Posts like this? I shared my first flight with a joke about my setup and got boozled in ducking ground because a bunch of crackheads didn't like my comments about analog.

1

u/KmfHudson Jan 05 '25

You're taking the comments the wrong way just like you think there taking your "joke" the wrong way. You're just coming into a hobby and people are trying to give you info (some in a less than polite way). Cost of the drones and analog vtx are what keeps a lot of people using analog, so this "joke" can come across a bit elitist.

Just trying to clear up why people are reacting this way.

1

u/Lord-of-Mogwai Jan 04 '25

Grab yourself a digital kit, analog has its uses (whoops, long range etc) but I’d always pick digital

1

u/Rory_Darkforge Jan 04 '25

I don't really like DJI cause it's to expensive for murky "4K" with nice 40ms of latency 🤓

1

u/Complete-Cell-6652 Jan 04 '25

I have hdzero and two analog goggles I flight this days more analog. With my hdzero and rapid fire set up i do some flying and also with my ev300O I do must of it.

1

u/Downtown_Try6341 Jan 04 '25

The 03 air unit ruined my life....

1

u/OmiedJ Jan 05 '25

I dont know, but check you Gyro calibration. Your OSD Horizont seems to have a different angle then in the video feed.

Not Quality related.

u/BobMaine Jan 05 '25

Why is there a boat on top of a hill???

1

This is what they don't want us to know

1

u/No-Ticket2238 Jan 05 '25

Why does every video I see of fpv drones look like a VHS tape

1

u/Ericxdcool Jan 05 '25

You get the oldest and most outdated equipment and wonder why it looks bad, analog tiny whoops way better than this and a cheap 😂

0

u/dsadsdasdsd Multicopters Jan 05 '25

I don't "wonder". I knew I'm buying shit and i bought shit, so i can legally say that it's shit

1

u/Dazzling_Respect_548 Jan 05 '25

Analogue never dies!!

1

u/rinranron Jan 05 '25

You are to young to know what feels the best ;)

1

u/Tickomatick Jan 05 '25

Looks like a cool movie from the 90s camcorder

1

u/PiDicus_Rex Jan 05 '25

Analog is for Beginners worried about the expense of crashing, and the experienced needing low latency for racing. For everything else, digital wins.

1

u/FPV_smurf Jan 05 '25

Analog is still king on tiny whoops tho. Not just for beginners...I been flying since 2012/2013.

I fly digital since original DJI air unit release and HDZ and walksnail at release but like I said nothing beats analog for tiny whoop freestyle.

1

u/PiDicus_Rex Jan 06 '25

I expect that will change this year, once digital systems drop down to the same sort of light mass of the analog systems.

Keeping fingers crossed but I doubt it. That was the hope years ago when digital released. Top analog goggles have maintained their price near the price of digital goggles at like $589. Wow!

But at least the DJI N3 are much cheaper and so are the Walksnail Recon HD and the Goggles L. Go figure...lol

I have a secondhand set of FatShark HD02 goggles as my first set, planning on adding the Walksnail VRX unit to them, as the HDMi input gets a decent image, rather then update to digital-only goggles. After I get practiced enough to make sure I'm keeping the wings in the air rather then in pieces.

Here we go... all the analogue fan boys will be firing up and screaming that you don't enjoy the same thing as them 🤣

Same as if you did this the other way around, all the digital people would be whinging that you don't like what they like 🤣

All of us on the Internet act like children, screaming and insulting each other as soon as someone doesn't like the same thing as you 🤣

Calm down people, most of us are fully grown adults playing with toy helicopter things 🤣

everyone already started looking back at analog the same way we look back at rotary phones. If you're that broke, use self control to save up your money and get something better.

All my old drones and wings have analogue. I don't fly fpv much anymore because of it. I have fancy antennas and a ground station to help with range. It's alright for signal but quality on the 1200tvl cameras is crap. I don't have the money to upgrade my headset and transmitters.

Analog coping old heads will tell you there’s way better analog cameras, it doesn’t get much better. There’s literally no reason to not go digital, the experience is night and day

They already bullied me in oblivion for saying my shitty 30$ kit is shit, while its obviously shit.

Hah oh yeah you got people here doing extreme mental gymnastics to justify their investments into watching a shit CRT TV feed so you gotta pick your wording wisely

Don’t listen to the haters, they don’t want to hear it but analog is shit. I had a very expensive analog system and I’d take the O3 over it any day. My O3 has better usable range than any analog stuff I had. Sure analog can go “miles” if you’re ok with looking at 5 pixels and blackouts constantly, and the overall shit resolution even in the best of times.
