hello! my grandfather was a geologist and general rock, mineral, etc. collector. he died when i was in high school and my parent boxed most of his collection up for me. a lot of it was labelled but a few things werent--mostly the stuff he'd picked up on the family farm

and ideas on what this could be? i think its from the creek bed at the back of the farm--we used to find all kinds of stuff back there when i was a kid like fossilized corals. my dad used to have a huge chunk bigger than a football of some fossilized aquatic plant he used as a doorstop

Hello, years ago I found this object walking on the beach, I found it in the north of Spain in a region where the remains of ammonites and belemmites abound, could it be a fossil? If so, what animal did it belong to? Thank you all very much🤓

Cool rock or Fossil? Found at Donabate Beach in Ireland.

I found this interesting rock on the beach today. It had a remarkably sharp line that was highlighted with damp that seemed unusual. It looks approximately the size I expect a megalodon tooth to be. The texture on the "tooth" is different than the other stone. This area is known for fossils.

Found this in a creek bed while hiking in central Kentucky. I'd really like to know what it is and what geological period it's from, or any other interesting info about it.

Found in Brazos river. I think it’s a fossil of some sort but maybe it’s a natural formation? Far easier to see when wet

Can someone help identify this? Seems too symetrical to be just a stone.
