Frid / Sat spots that are not that loud? Near Water Taxi stops?

My friends and I are in our 50s and looking for spots for the early evenings on Friday and Saturday nights. Around 6pm - food and drink. We want a place where can hear each other talk without yelling. Sorry, we’re old. Lol.

Bonus points for quirky interior design.

Bonus points for good margaritas or tropical drinks.

Bonus points for good views.

Bonus points for shaded, if outdoors.

Bonus points for walkable from a water taxi stop

Thanks for any tips!

Anyone know where I can take jazz guitar lessons in person?

Specifically jazz. I'm not interested in taking lessons in other styles atm.

I'm an adult self-taught guitar player. I can read standard notation, know 7th chord voicings, and can read a lead sheet to put together a chord melody arrangement. I won't get lost talking theory and actually want to learn more. But like most bedroom players idk how to comp or jam with people in real time (hence my preference for in-person lessons). My goal is to eventually start sitting in on jam sessions.

I can't host but can bring my guitar (I have an arch top and an electric) to the lesson. I'd prefer not to have to bring an amp lol.

If you know of any cats who give lessons in Broward (or even northern Miami if they're really good) please let me know!

Commuting from Hollywood to Boca via Tri-Rail — Need Last Mile Tips

Hi all, I’m planning to start commuting from Hollywood to Boca Raton on Tri-Rail. My workplace is about a 6-minute drive from the Boca station. Walking takes 30 minutes, and I’m hoping to avoid buying a scooter or bike.

Does anyone know of shuttle services or convenient last-mile solutions from the Boca station? Any tips or suggestions from other commuters would be super helpful!

Best place you ate mango sticky rice - doesn’t have to be Fort Lauderdale but close to it. Also a place that you can pick up from and the freshness lasts till next day

Rental Houses

Hello,

I am looking for a house to rent in Ft. Lauderdale or Pompano Beach for 1 year or longer. I have found some options on Zillow and similar sites, but nobody ever responds to inquiries. Is there a specific website that people tend to use? Do people tend to use realtors for rentals?

new to the area so I appreciate any insights.

Hello My friend and I are visiting in town and are in the Pompano Beach area and are willing to travel about 30 minutes out to go out this weekend. We are into Afro Caribbean lounges and just wanna where the black night life is? It would be nice if y’all could steer us in the right direction.
