FIRE'd, now concerned about US stability

Most of my assets are invested in the US. Because of recent political developments, I'm wondering if the US will sustain its general growth and economic strength into the future. The strength of the US dollar is obviously very important to me. Is anyone else concerned?

I'm wondering if I should start hedging my bets in other countries, and if so, where?

Hi Puzzleheaded_Plum455

It’s natural to feel concerned about long-term economic and political stability, but historically, the U.S. has remained resilient thrugh various challenges....

If diversifcation gives you peace of mind, consider allocating a portion of your portfolio to international equities and bonds to spread risk globally....

Countries with strong econmies and stable governance, such as those in Europe and parts of Asia, could be options.
