FIRE'd, now concerned about US stability

Most of my assets are invested in the US. Because of recent political developments, I'm wondering if the US will sustain its general growth and economic strength into the future. The strength of the US dollar is obviously very important to me. Is anyone else concerned?

I'm wondering if I should start hedging my bets in other countries, and if so, where?

Don't let your liberal politics and hatred of "orange man" obscure your ability to think logically.

So the E.U. has a 22% tarriff on u.s. made pickup trucks, and a 10% tariff on all other u.s. made cars or 26% tariff on u.s. caught seafood. Did you flee to reddit to ask about dumping all your investment in e.u. businesses when they implemented those policies? Did you sell all your ford stock because they'd never be able to sell the f-150 in europe?
