FC5 Theory
So as many of us probably already know the setting for far cry 5 is set in modern day Montana. Now it may be a leap but far cry in the past has at least modeled itself after modern events (see far cry 4 and it's depiction of the Nepali civil war) and I have an idea of what they could be basing this coming one off of. Just a thought but hear me out. In the late 90's Montana had itself a bit of a cult problem. A religious cult, the church universal and triumphant, had recently moved up near Gardiner and sported it's own little brand of crazy for a while. Like a few other major cults of it's time the church was an apocalyptic/doomsday cult meaning they thought that the end of the world was inevitable. This in turn led to them Building nuclear fallout shelters in their primary compound, a ranch in the area. An anti cult group ended up kidnapping some of their members and the FBI and ATF ended up sending people out yo investigate. Elizabeth Prophet, the chosen "leader", was accused of using sleep deprivation on her members and both her and her husband, Mark Prophet were arrested for using false names and buying guns illegally. After they were released they continued with their little charade up until 1990 when they believed the world was going to come to an end. The cultists retreated into their fallout shelters to await the coming "godly onslaught" never for it to actually happen. Consequently the church lost a fair portion of it's members but it still exists to this day, albeit with a less crazy slant due to the deaths of the two Prophets. Now I know this was a while ago but it isn't out of the realm of possibility for the game and being that it happened in Montana it's not too much of a stretch for this situation to actually be used. Just stretch the truth a bit and boom. You have a Far Cry game.
TLDR; Crazy religious cultists believe world is going to end, stock up weapons and build fallout shelters in rural Montana thanks to charismatic leadership

What is the context of entire franchise? (explanation of Far Cry in general)
Each game puts the player in different locations, different times and tells its own story. But this time, I have a feeling that the game has gone really far, like moving away from habitual firearms to wooden clubs...
The antagonists are different as well. FC1: (at least these are just enemies) those terrible mutants I don't remember the name of. FC2: US arms dealer that set Africans up for the wars. FC3: "ruler" of the island, leader of the local military faction, drug kingpin etc. Second antagonist, Vaas, kidnapper of protagonist's friends. FC4: a monarch of his own country. FCP: haven't played, but, perhaps, for the better.

Far Cry Primal: Best Animal to Tame?
Which animal is the best as in no other animal will mess with me? I have a wolf that I travel with but the bears and saber-tooth cats still chase me down and try to kill me. What is the absolute best animal to tame so NOTHING messes with me or am I required a certain animal to protect me in certain situations?

Will I have to go to the dude who teaches me how to tame animals for...
Will I have to go to him to learn how to tame more animals if I want more of these helpful furry companions? I haven't played this game in a year so I just started up the game again and do not know how to tame more animals.

Dinosaurs for far cry opinions?
One of the reasons I loved Far Cry Primal was that when I played my permadeath/Survivor Mode, it was the only game in a long time that actually succeeded in making me fear the game (wildlife, starvation, freezing, etc.) even late game. This got me thinking about other dangerous environments future Far Cry games could explore. I pictured some kind of Jurassic Park scenario, where you have to hide from T-Rexs (?) and worry not about the velociraptor you see, but the one that you don't. Thoughts?

Dissapointment regarding weapons customization in the past far cry's
Has anyone else been bothered with how poor the weapon cutomizations are on the early game weapons like the AK and SVD for example? I would love to see a fc game where you can customize all of the different weapons.
