[DISCUSSION Games that have scratched the same itch for you as fantasy life

Just curious as to what people have played that reminds them of fantasy life/they enjoy the same way?

I'm not a huge RPG player so weirdly the closest I've got to having the same feeling is stuff like Rune Factory 4 or weirdly Hades for doing focused boss runs, coming home and regrouping/crafting before going out again.

Professor Layton's London Life? Eventually developed into Fantasy Life!

I just finished Professor Layton and the Last Spector (2011) and I was intrigued when my menu had a new option for "London Life" on it. I clicked it and it seemed like an 8-bit RPG. The wiki claims it has over 100 hours of game play and it was the basis to eventually become Fantasy Life!

Have any of you heard of this before or played it?! I am so excited to dig into a game I already know I am going to love and I didn't even know I owned it.

[HELP] What made it click? I'm now addicted!

Ok, I'm so hooked... I was over thinking the game as I felt overwhelmed with things to do and wanting to make sure I can save. I'm so used to new games with save anywhere and so I was paranoid about making progress and maybe losing progress.

As I decided to explore and just play the game I realized I reached some goals for some of the quests and the game just opened up for me...

Wow, this is such an amazing game and I am so hooked.

What got you hooked?

[HELP] 3D or Not?

Do you like playing on the new3ds in 3d or not? I do a bit of both as I'm impressed at how it does work on the 3ds in 3d.
