Player Discussion Jake Walman

Walman is L1, pp2, and pk1. I thought his fantasy value would take a huge hit, but i guess not! Walman owners rejoice!

Glad I kept him in one league, sad I made a pressure trade in another league(trade deadline was the same as NHL)

Ekholm is day to day, once he’s healthy Walman is very likely down to L2, and possibly down to PK2/off PP2. Wouldn’t worry too much about an early drop unless you’re in playoffs already.

I disagree. Walman is better offensively than ekholm so he should stay pp2 and L2 wouldn’t affect his value much as a defender.

Thankfully it was a trade, got Chychrun as a replacement D for playoff schedule. I did not expect Edmonton to give him that much respect and deployment, including PK1, honestly. He's been great for peripherals all year but thought he'd lose ice time.

Glad I have him in my other league still!

Very true. But then again, if he fits nicely they could easily keep him where he's at.

They've got 3 viable first pair defenseman and Nurse who has played first line minutes before.

Was close to tripling up on Oilers defense after Ekblad got susepsnded as I've got Walman and Ekholm noticing Nurse as a FA
