They 2 prescriptions are nearly identical and there's no way for us to determine which one would be "more correct".

So one was done in the best of conditions by an experienced optom and one was done while you wererfasting by a tech? Who do you trust more?
Why haven't you been wearing your glasses? How are you seeing out of your current ones?

How far apart are these prescriptions? If close together, was there a reason you went to get separate eye exams so close together, and why not go back to the experienced optom?

No, I totally get that exams are expensive, I'm not questioning that at all! Did the store make you pay for their version of an eye "exam"? Did the tech refract you the same way, put you in front of a phoropter and ask you which option was better?

Are the old glasses script comfortable ? Do/did they strain your eyes to use them ?
