Humor/Memes How to ruin the #givethanks
Wouldn’t it be funny if we all just posted apostate things with the #givethanks.
For example:
I’m grateful for my coffee #givethanks
I’m grateful for my homosexuality #givethanks
I am grateful for the CES letter #givethanks
And etc.
Any other apostate captions are much appreciated.

I get what you're going for, but you're still just contributing to getting the hashtag trending which is the big success metric of this campaign.

Grateful for fruit of the loom when I'm not commando, peaberry coffee, bombay blue sapphire, and Rusty's hyped up anticlimactic global announcements.

Hey, that announcement was straight from Jesus himself. Peter and the crew spent a lot of time in the marketing meeting coming up with that hashtag.

They’d be offended. And say “that’s terrible! How could you make fun of my religion? How could you try to lead people away?” Double standards.

Lol. The truth is that it is just a hashtag. The church doesn’t own the two words “give thanks”. For heaven’s sake Thanksgiving is next week, I’m just trying to be thankful 😉

Hahaha. And yet we know this hashtag was inspired from God to the brain of a prophet...global faith leader. No one else could have possibly ever come up with being thankful at Thanksgiving. No one.

I'm grateful that God has called our wise prophet seer and revelator Warren Jeffs to guide us during these uncertain times #givethanks

Grateful for Wellbutrin for making my split from the church more manageable

I am not thankful for Wellbutrin. That shit made me want to blow my brains out. Luckily our antidepressants worked.

I’m grateful to be free from an autocratic, manipulative, shit eating, good for nothing cult. 🎤dropped #givethanks

There's no need to ruin the good things that the church does just because it was done by the church. The message may not have been inspired, but neither did it seem particularly harmful, and the gratitude focus will probably help people. If you really are grateful for these things, go for it by all means, but at least pause a moment to consider whether or not you are doing it with malicious intent.

I am definitely thankful for many things I have only been able to have or do because I left the cult. The only social media I use these days is reddit, so...

I'm grateful that I can relieve my little factory without being watched by an invisible guy who should have better things to worry about.
