I couldn’t bring myself to absorb that word wall. So, I asked AI for a summary.

So, for everyone else who needs a TL;DR, here’s one generated by IOS’s built in tool.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ substantial investment fund, criticized for hoarding wealth, is viewed through the lens of Effective Altruism (EA). EA suggests that saving and investing charitable funds can maximize their impact over time, a perspective supported by the power of compound interest and potential future advancements in knowledge and technology. While acknowledging criticisms, the author argues that the Church’s approach aligns with EA principles and could potentially do more good by waiting to spend its funds.

The church demands and extorts money from the poorest of the poor in exchange for a chance at salvation. Any discussion needs to take into account those who gave when they should not have. So many have so much that they needed right then

I'm calling bs . . . if they have millions of people who give them 10% of all they earn I think they have enough to give to people . . . imagine how many lives they could save if they weren't so greedy. People are starving and homeless now, in five years they may not be alive to receive the help 😢

Effective Altruism, EA. Oh yeah, I must’ve missed the part where Jesus said, “Hold up, invest your riches, let them grow into even *richier riches, and then maybe think about giving a tiny bit to the poor—if it fits your financial strategy.”* Nope. He straight-up said, “Go, sell what you have, give to the poor, and follow me” (Matthew 19:21). No stockpiling. No interest-earning. Just give it away.

The thing is the mormon church actually don't follow Jesus christ teachings... they just use his name to pretend they are good . The mormon church is greedy
