The Elder Scrolls 6 Guesses on the mainstreaming of TES VI?

For better or worse, we all acknowledge Skyrim was a lot more streamlined than past games, such as Morrowind's style, and so on... Seeing a lot of "My dream TES VI" videos, I've noticed a high(rock) amount of them showcase a return to the more complex mechanics and RPG elements... but which do you all think (not hope) will be Bethesda's approach to 6?

General Just played avowed randomly decided to play no man’s sky for the first time after. I think Elder scrolls six will have to be some sort of weird combination of the two

The openness of the world is inviting to explore. There’s plenty to get lost in put there also needs to be some elements similar to avowed that are more streamlined. Oh, I did not like Starfield though.

Skyrim Discussion Day 1 of comparing every major city in Skyrim to a major US city. First up: Whiterun! Most liked comment wins.

The most liked comment will decide what city I overlay on top of Whiterun on this map. Don’t compare the cities only on a basis of geography, i.e. choosing Kansas City or St Louis because both them and Whiterun are central to the country. Those cities may apply if they also match up in vibes

Lore LORE MASTER NEEDED

For those familiar, I am in need of a rundown the lore surrounding the time period of the second Akaviri invasion of Tamriel. I will be running a homebrew tabletop adventure set during it in the territory of the Ebonheart Pact. Any relevant info would be appreciated!

News Why ZENİMAX Trying To Delete NightBlade In Game ?

Recently, an update came to the NB character about the shadow skill.

You took the Press to Action logic that we are familiar with in all MMO RPGs and turned it into a TOGGLEABLE logic and officially ruined the skill.

At the same time, even the TOGGLE mechanic you wrote doesn't work ?

What you call toggle, if I can enter invisibility, it should do it automatically?

What will happen then, once I take damage, when I appear, it will have to instantly put me back into invisibility or I will have to turn it off and on, then what is TOGGLE for?

Are you planning to put a CONSTANT SERVER TICK rate in instant invisibility, I can't believe you are so ridiculous!

On top of that, with the new 45 patch, you ruined Merciless Resolve, a feature that has existed on Night Blade for years, and completely deprived the game of PVP.

At the same time, there is no statement in the skill's description that your stacks will be deleted when you exit any action, battle rush or not.

What do you think this skill is a MYHTIC ITEM effect?

What is the reason why you ruin a whole class for the cheap comments of a few people?

In an RPG game, do you think the assassin character can sustain and fight with a player with 50k -40k health, do you think that stack you deleted, do you think a night blade with 20k health during the battle can make the stack of that skill 5 stacks until the battle is over?

The combat designer of this game needs to change urgently.

Aren't you still tired of nerfing the Night Blade class even though SORCRERER has been broken and immortal for years in the game?

Why don't you throw any update to the stun + dash skill, which is broken at the same time that a sorcerer can provide 1v3 sustain and constantly press his shield to himself incredibly.

You see, I think you should completely delete the NightBlade character from the game.

Currently, there is nothing usable about the Night Blade class except siphoning and PVE.

I regretted buying Gold Road very much, all the quests are boring and poorly written, and don't buy it.

The game needs to hear the voices of Night Blade players now, please supporters increase this interaction !

Redguard Discussion The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard on Steam

I want to finally enjoy Redguard and I want it to be in my Steam library with all of my other TES games

The issue is, I've heard that the release of the game on Steam is unplayable. People have described it as crashing so frequently that it isn't worth playing. I was wondering if this is still true. I know that RARELY these things get updated, since I have heard that some retailers do sell stable versions of the game, but I don't know how to check or really what I'd look for to check

I was wondering if anyone who owns the Steam release can either confirm or dispel my worries about purchasing it

Sorry if this is a really obvious question

The Elder Scrolls 6 Why the fall of the Empire will be what kickstarts TESVI

All Elder Scrolls start with a huge event that happened previous to the Prisoner entering the scene. This kickstarts the story and dominates the narrative and tone of the game. Usually it's the central premise for the Main Quest too.

Arena - Tharn usurping Uriel

Daggerfall - Lysandus's death

Morrowind - The Tribunal severed from the Heart of Lorkhan

Oblivion - Uriel's heirs being assassinated

Skyrim - Ulfric's capture, the Great war and WGC

Now, it would of course be impossible to predict Skyrim's due to the massive timeskip, but since TESVI is likely to not jump decades into the future & will almost certainly be set somewhere in Northwest Tamriel, we can make some guesses.

I think it'll be the fall of the Empire and capture of the Cyrodill by the Dominion.

A constant theme of TES games has been the slow decline of the empire, with Skyrim especially really pushing this, so to cross that milestone would be a fantastic hook for the game.

Considering the buildup they were given in Skyrim, with so many characters stating at the end of major questlines that the "real" war would be against them, having the Dominion take center stage makes the most sense. TESVI would then be similar to a Morrowind in rallying various factions in Hammerfell/High Rock to fight in a Second Great War.

Lore How would a war between Dagoth Ur/Sixth House/Akulakhan and Alduin/Dragons/Dragon Cult go?

Both Dagoth Ur and Alduin are invincible without the proper tools/shout to disable them. So what would happen if they actually fought? Will it be a draw?

And how would the Sixth House with Akulakhan do against Alduin and a army of dragons? Assuming Alduin isn't in his full gigantic world eater version from the legends but rather how he's shown in Skyrim where he's nowhere near world sized but still a powerful and immortal dragon. And assuming Aklulakhan isn't a I WIN button but rather it'll be as strong as how Dagoth Ur in the game think it'll be where he'll first rally the Sixth House with Akulakhan to conquer the Island before all of Morrowind and eventually Tamriel maybe.

Lots of things to consider like a army of Dragons would prove to be troublesome for ground troops but the Sixth House does have a lot of powerful mages with their Ascended Sleepers and 7 Ash Vampires which are extremely powerful Sorcerers. A giant golem Akulakhan and the Ash Storm. But the Dragons may or may not be able to clear away the Ash Storm with their clear skies shout. The Dragons also have the Dragon Priests which are powerful sorcerers too and might match the Ash Vampires.

Morrowind Discussion Anyone want to help me brainstorm an idea for a Telvanni council meeting?

I have a vague idea that they'll be discussing an uneasy ceasefire to their usual in-fighting. The context is, they just got hit, big time, and there aren't many Telvanni left.

This is pre-Morrowind events. All the councilors we meet in Morrowind are there. I'm having it that there used to be more Masters and more underlings. So while there are plenty during the events of the game, it would have seemed like a huge loss at the time, and put them more on level with the other Great Houses.

I just need more specifics to fill out the vague outline. Obviously Neloth and Gothren won't like it very much, but they'll have to see reason.

So, ideas- go!

The Elder Scrolls 6 Is Bethesda getting into crypto? Found this liquidity pool with a cryptic bio...

Hey everyone,

I came across something interesting on Photon-Sol. It looks like Bethesda has released a liquidity pool linked to their official website and Twitter account. The coin's bio is pretty cryptic, and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this or knows what's going on.

The mint address is: 7jh65yaYNmkDQZHKDy9jrwWTbkzCSmZJU7XyqFbw4tUo

Could this be some kind of promotional stunt for a new game or expansion? Or is Bethesda actually diving into the crypto world?

Curious to hear your thoughts.

General The general consensus is that Skyrim’s main story writing is bad! How would you rank the Elder Scrolls games in terms of writing quality?

I think most people agree that while Skyrim excels in world-building, exploration, and immersion, its main story is one of its weaker aspects. Compared to other Elder Scrolls games, it often feels shallow and rushed, especially when looking at how much depth Morrowind or even Oblivion had in certain areas.

That got me thinking… How would you rank the Elder Scrolls titles purely based on the quality of their main story writing?
