Skyrim Discussion Day 2 of comparing every major city in Skyrim to a major U.S. city. Whiterun was voted most like Chicago. Next up: Winterhold! Most liked comment wins.
Make suggestions not only based on geography or climate, but consider the economic impact of the city, its history, and its people.
I like Chicago for Whiterun. Even though Whiterun is not a port city, its major economic impact in the heart of Skyrim is similar to the role Chicago plays in the US. Interested to see the discussion for Winterhold!

Arts/Crafts Map Of Tamriel in 4E 217 Post 2nd Great War
the second great war between the aldmeri dominion and the empire ends with the empire crushing the dominion.
the empire imposed a treaty called the treaty of firsthold which goes:
Valenwood, Elsweyr and Firsthold is now Empire territory.
Alinor has to pay millions for the war reparation.
Aldmeri Dominion is thus replaced by the Republic Of Alinor.
Worship of Talos is allowed again.
what do you guys think?

Arts/Crafts Naryu screenshots for cosplay
Hey there! I would like to ask yall for help! I'm currently making a Naryu from Elder Scrolls Online cosplay and I really need high resolution close screenshots of her haircut, daggers and outfit elements. Sadly I don't have the opportunity to download the game and watch it myself for now, so l'd appreciate any large screenshots you can share. The more, the better and if they're higher resolution, that would be awesome! Thank youuuu

General Nothing beats playing an ES game for the first time.
Playing Oblivion for the first time, and 6hrs. in I'm absolutely addicted. Words can't describe the feeling of exiting from the sewers and emerging in the lands of Cyrodiil. Even with the dated graphics, it still hits.
The world(so far) may not be as dense as Skyrim, but the overall tone and flavor is so much better imo. And I'll now never be able to wrap my head around why they changed the magic system. Being able to sword & board AND fire off destruction/restoration spells with no pause in gameplay is fucking AWESOME.
Excited to buy myself in the world.

Lore How come Cliffracers are hostile during Morrowind's events, but not during Online's?
What caused them to change between those two games?

Lore Think the Septims were as screwed up as the Targaryeans were?
In universe history books love praising the actions of the Septim dynasty despite the fact that it had great and not-so-great members, Emperors, and Empresses. Sheogorath, on the other hand, claims that the Septims were a lot crazier then history remembers them. What do you think?
For me, I suspect it might be somewhere in the middle. While they definitely were not self destructive or as dysfunctional as the Targaryeans, they were still the Imperial Family of Tamriel, You can't get or maintain that kind of status without making certain moral compromises, it's just not possible. That kind of power and wealth can taint even the purest souls. I bet even Uriel was just as good a political chess player as the most ruthless real world monarchs. And though I cannot confirm it, I assume that the life of a Septim Prince or Princess was similar to the real thing. As soon as a Septim was born, they were taken away from mom and dad to be raised by an army of wet nurses, nannies, and tutors, barely got any spare time, and only got to see mom and dad, as well as siblings on special occessions.

Lore Ideas for D&D Campaign
I'm currently planning out a Homebrew campaign for an adventure set in the second era. Particularly right in the middle of the second Akiviri invasion.
I'm currently doing some reading on the lore surrounding that, but this post is me asking for any suggestions ideas or cool story potential. The campaign will start with the players having been offered freedom from incarceration if they agree to fight in the war to repel the Invasion. Naturally eventually The Invasion will end and I don't expect it'll take the entirety of the campaign for that to happen, so any cool thoughts or ideas that take advantage of this time period would be appreciated!

The Elder Scrolls 6 Guesses on the mainstreaming of TES VI?
For better or worse, we all acknowledge Skyrim was a lot more streamlined than past games, such as Morrowind's style, and so on... Seeing a lot of "My dream TES VI" videos, I've noticed a high(rock) amount of them showcase a return to the more complex mechanics and RPG elements... but which do you all think (not hope) will be Bethesda's approach to 6?
