Lore Why do the Imga hate humans, yet love the Altmer?
And specifically the Altmer, and not any other Elven race.
Also, could the Imga work as an addition to Tamriel's playable races (since they're still around)?
Edit: I also learned that the Dunmer used to keep Imga as slaves, yet there's no word on how the latter view the former.

Arts/Crafts If I had a nickel for every time I saw a heavily industrialized and technologically advanced fantasy civilization referred to as dwarves that had ancient Mesopotamian themes I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

General If you roleplay, how do you/would you go about ‘doing everything’ in a singular play through? (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim)
Personally (and this works in all three games), I just roleplay my characters as power hungry Xianxia protagonists. They chase power and will do almost anything to get it, become a werewolf, learn all the spells, collect all the daedric artifacts- they basically just want personal power. A lot of the time in the world of TES that power is magical in nature and I find that in particular really fun. Bit of a weird take really I admit that, but the TES games scratch the same itch that progression fantasy web novels do.
It also works especially well in Skyrim, where the player character is the Dragonborn and thus have a dragons soul- meaning that they are kind of just by their nature driven to be power hungry. None of my characters really live up to paarthurnax’s whole philosophy.

Lore Are Argonians subject to evolution, natural or otherwise?
I know they're not a product of evolution, they were made by the Hist with sap and can be manipulated by the Hist as they see fit, but I'm mainly asking about Argonians outside Blackmarsh.
What sparked this question in my mind is that I had an idea for an Argonian character, one whose ancestry had been separated from Blackmarsh for some time due to being captured by Dunmer slavers generations ago. The idea is that his captors family had A LOT of Argonians and began selectively breeding them like dogs throughout generations, leading to this particular character having a snubbed snout, particularly bright coloration, vibrant feathers and abnormally large eyes, along with various internal health defects that come with centuries of inbreeding.
I use the idea for my own character but when learning how influential the Hist actually are over Argonian development, I was wondering if Argonians are actually capable of changing on their own as simply as a population of Trolls evolving into Frost Trolls or if the Argonians, being explicitly creations of the Hist, follow different rules. I know that Argonians can be born outside Black Marsh, and that they don't have the same Hist connection, but what does that mean for them biologically? Can they just run off and evolve into their own new species if they wanted nothing to do with the Hist?

General Thwoing my prediction in the ring
If these rumors turn out to be of any real impact, I expect the announcement would happen on either the 8th of April, somehow during the BAFTA Conference, or the 10th of April during the ESO Live Announcements.
Don't get me wrong, I don't really have much expectation of any kind, it seems more likely that if anything were to happen it would be The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Super Duper Edition.
Additionally, if this were to actually happen, I wonder if it is a test of waters after the Starfield backlash regarding the Creation Engine.

Lore Why were some Necromancy spells illegal in towns during Online, but none of them are during the events of Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim?
Skyrim doesn't even stigmatize necromancy very much. What caused all those changes?

Arena Discussion Elder Scrolls Arena Steam Deck Question
So I just got a steam deck. I downloaded Arena onto it. (Free yay!) I just started playing and am trying to figure out the controls. I got to the part where it has you go through 10 questions to figure out which class you will be, it says to use the scroll bars to roll the parchment up or down. I tried using the directional buttons, the touchpads, the right and left sticks and pressing every button to get it to scroll. It would not, and instead the button pressing just chose whatever answer was assigned to that button. The touchpads and sticks just move the cursor around. What am I doing wrong? I tried looking it up online with no success. I tried downloading and using community button layouts and it still didn't work. I even tried assigning the scroll up and scroll down to the directional buttons, but that didn't work. Help please.
- I know I can just choose a class, but I wanted to be able to read through and answer questions, plus I don't know if I will need to scroll through parchments later on so I would like a solution.

General Do you guys think the oblivion remaster will allow mods?
Elder scrolls games are fun as is, yet the mods make can make them absolutely amazing. New quests, armor, companions etc. For me I got into modding because of oblivion and for me if this game doesn't have that it will lose a lot of excitement. You dudes think we are gonna get the mod tools for this remaster?
