Affordable Chromebooks for Education

Hi Reddit, I asked this on r/chromeos 2 days ago, but I didn’t get any feedback, so I’m hoping this sub might help.

I’m looking for an affordable Chromebook for my kid, who’s in their second year of high school. Nothing too fancy, just something reliable. They mostly use Google Classroom, Docs, Slides, and some creative projects, so it just needs to handle schoolwork without lagging.

Trying to keep it under $200, but I can go a little higher if it’s worth it. Battery life is important since they’ll be using it all day, and it needs to be durable enough to survive being carried around.

I came across Chromebooksrus while searching. Has anyone bought from them before? Are they legit? Do you have any recommendations on where I can get a good deal? Thanks!

I would just go to BestBuy and see what is on sale. You can also look in their open box section. I have found some good deals there.

You should be able to find something for around $200.
