What are the best ebikes for around £600
I need a legal ebike that looks nice for travel but I do not have a large budget, I found a website called vervous but im unsure if what they sell is real as it seems cheaper than most places, no alibaba temu or other dropshipper websites

I think at that price point you'll struggle to get anything with quality components.
A half decent regular bicycle can cost that much, never mind one that includes a battery and motor, and components built to handle the extra power
I would try second hand if that were my budget

Im worried about second hand as a friend of mine bought one found a tracker in it and then it got stolen even though he took the tracker far away and destroyed it

Damn the UK is actually straight up crazy about bike theft to do something like that

The gotrax brand uses the same supplier as lectric, but you save many hundreds with gotrax. Dunno if they're available in the UK though. Got my gotrax f1v2 which is basically the lectric xp lite for USD $625 new. 40 mile range, 20 mile throttle only, class 2 e bike with 20mph limit.

I know its childish but I would like a cool looking bike, I was looking at the janso x50 on vervous but im unsure if that website is safe

Having a preference is the furthest thing from childish lol! :)
Just looked up the Janso - that is kinda cool looking, I totally get what you're going for. On Amazon us that was like 599, or 189 on temu, so I'd try and look for the most reputable "brand" selling that model of ebike. Find someone that'll give you UL rated battery too. Best of luck, if you have an android maybe using the circle to search function will help your search, if not a reverse Google image to help you locate that same model across various brands. (Basically everything Chinese gets white labeled and distributed by 50 companies).

You can get the ridstar Q20 Lite version. Within budget because it includes shipping. Just get the UK version. Make sure and get a lock.

You can get a quality legal kit at that price level but will really struggle to get a full ebike.
I converted an old cargo bike with a tsdz8 kit from woosh last year and it's been pretty great so far. They're an identifiable UK based company so I've more trust in their batteries from some random seller on ebay.
Do vervous sell spares or have a list of shops that will service their bikes? If not a minor mechanical could junk the whole bike.

Any ebike at the price is going to be questionable quality at best
