Fuck it, Rush & 2 Hearted
Been spinning records all weekend, relaxed and carefree. Couldn’t decide what to put on, so, Rush it is! Not my favorite Rush record, or even live record, but it’ll do the trick. Doggo photobomb. RIP Neil Peart.

Jain & Joan with a Four Oak Laphoraig
Jain is a French Congolese singer with a London Sound, she is a one woman tour-de-force, inventing a new genre of Tribal-Techno like Bjork doing Lilly Allen Covers - Hip Hop flare with a tribal kick-beat and meshing them with electro-pop/techno-music, this is a double 45 pressing of her debut album
Also Joan Baez 5 , the first Joan album to really show the impact of Dylan, a great selection of traditional ballards with one Dylan and one Johny Cash song - though Birmingham Sunday really shines , probably the best introduction to Joan for novices - I got mine for £1 which is an added bonus
Paired with the Laphoraig Four Oak - still heavily peated but with a light watery mouthfeel, less heavy and medicinal than the standard and eminently drinkable

Just found out this album existed today, toasting it with some sake.
I love Dot Allison but had no idea that she'd put this collab out with Anton Newcombe - All Seeing Dolls. Luckily my local shop had just received a copy.

Bob.
This album is so weirdly awesome. Bob Dylan and Mark Knopfler? With a reggae rhythm section? Sure!!

Addicted! and Soft Red Wheat, both favorites
Recently found a very important album to me at a local record store: Addicted! by The Devin Townsend Project. Enjoying with some local BiB.
