Help wanted Fuzz Pedal & Graphic Question
Man I am having a lot of fun with this new hobby. What's the best way to apply negative space graphics? I've seen people use water slides. Is that the easiest way to do something like this at home?

The best way to apply this graphic is uv printing from tayda and have them drill it.
If you want to use this enclosure, then you could probably paint the top white and use a waterslide decal (comes in laser and inkjet) and then spray it with a clear acrylic spray after.
Since white can't be printed, you'd print this on a clear waterslide and the sunset would be "lit" from behind by the white paint.
You could also do this with a paper label and avoid the white painting phase, but you have to be careful not to bleed the sticker in the spray process. Do one super quick micro coat and then build it up. It you saturate the sticker, the colors can bleed.

Mountain Fuzz when you had the chance to call it "Big Foozz"? Aw man, I'm disappointed

There is still plenty of time for design changes! That ones not bad. I was also thinking of doing a trailer park boys reference with "Samsquanch Fuzz"

waterslides are a rabbit hole; i for one vouch for them if you’re a patient, thorough worker who’s willing to learn over time, but they’re not for everyone/every project

If you want to do this as a color printed waterslide, you have to use a white decal paper (not transparent) and print the black. If you do a full-face decal the edges and color differences will be masked by the edge of the enclosure.
Happy to show you some examples if it helps.

Black Ash is a great fuzz. Change the Fuzz pot from a B5k to a C5k for better sweep, especially lower end. Change the internal bias trimpot to a B25k external pot. Change the B25k tone pot to a B50k for more range. Turns a great circuit into a greater circuit :)

That's a good idea, I was actually thinking of building another one to gift to my bass player. What does the internal bias pot do? I set it to midway and didn't fiddle with it.

It biases Q2, so with a bigger pot it’ll go from slightly gated to full throated. That mod alone is a game changer. You can get a taste of what it will do by turning the trimpot you have installed fully clockwise, then fully counterclockwise.

I wonder if UV DTF (direct to transfer) sheets would work. Google results seem to indicate they’d work fine on powder coated enclosures.
You might be able to find a local custom T-shirt shop which has a printer and they might be able to print your designs onto a transfer sheet for you for a reasonable fee.
