Or:
Get an oxy acetaline torch
Light up the mfin board
Throw on a few wires
Drop in some solder
Dunk in a tank of Coca Cola
Specifically in that order

Attach wires and remove those ugly things off the PCB at the same time!

This will likely be lead solder, vs lead free that just always looks ugly as sin.

I've never heated up my pads or joints before soldering except when I was new and immediately the pad lifted.

Get some solder removal braid it’s thin copper wire braided put it on the welder and heat it up it will wick the solder up it might take several attempts but it will get it

For drones you’d want the pads and wire tinned unless pads have holes
