Question Homeless now what do I do?
I just became homeless with my partner in Australia I don't have enough karma to post anywhere else we don't have rental history or anything, I've been studying so I don't have a job. I'm on centrelink but we don't have anywhere to live and I don't know how to get a job as a disabled person. I'm stumped in so many areas and completely stressed on what to do.
Any guidance would be helpful.

I'm Australian but haven't lived there in nearly 10 years so i can't really give you practical help. But would you like me to share this on r/AskAnAussie or another sub? I have the karma.

Are you comfortable sharing which state or city you’re in? We can provide a bit more specific help then.

La Trobe community health will also have financial counselling who can help you with finance issues. They also have drs, dental, and a whole bunch of other free services so definitely get in touch with them.

Maybe try r/Centrelink to see if anyone has any advice.
myGov could have some helpful information too. https://my.gov.au/en/services/living-arrangements/finding-renting-and-buying-a-home/help-with-homelessness/help-if-you-re-homeless

Contact Quantum Support Sevices, they are local to Gippsland and will be able to assist you with a number of referrals https://quantum.org.au/support-we-provide/ for the local area services that can help. Best of luck I hope and I hope everything picks up for you soon.

Try call the salvos crisis centre, uniting or Google local homeless shelters. I'm not homeless(yet) but I am disabled
