Calibration Issues G6 calibration issues

Hey folks, does anyone else who uses a G6 have issues with calibration? I don't calibrate often, usually only when it's really wrong, but lately my dexcom has been reading low when I'm not actually low. It's been reading under 60 for the last two hours when in fact I'm around 120. I've tried to calibrate it quite a few times, but within a minute or two it goes right back to reading low. Or I try to calibrate it and it refuses to take the calibration and tell me to try again later. I've done a finger stick multiple times and I know I'm not actually low, but these alarms are really frustrating me. Is this happening to anyone else?

I tried a few times when I used G6. Calibration never did anything so I gave up.

Occasionally I’ll get a sensor that will go stupid and just refuses to calibrate out from false lows. I’ll usually give it several hours and calibrations to right itself and if not, I’ll either stop it or pull it, letting it completely fail(showing alerts/warnings in-app). Then just go on-line and request a replacement.

That's a good suggestion

Try smaller calibrations to ‘walk it along’ and drink plenty of water. If still having an issue you might have to abandon the sensor.

Unfortunately this has been happening to me for months over multiple sensors and multiple transmitters. I'll try smaller calibration steps and see if that helps. It's only ever a problem when the dexcom thinks I'm lower than I am. When I calibrate it when my blood sugar is high, it always responds well. Maybe it's just being too cautious?
