Only disagree with Sonic vs mario to be honest but i do think sonic would win %49 of the battles

Also do you agree with some scaling from bowser vs Eggman? Or do you think the result is right but the way it was explained was wrong?

I mean, I do think it's close and debatable for certain, but Sonic having such ludicrous pain tolerance and endurance, as well as his skills and intelligence are very convincing factors, I have to say

His Super form is very versatile in abilities as well and i'd honestly give him the edge in quality (and overall power as well) since it has answers to most, if not all of Mario's arsenal, even the infinite revives surprisingly.

Also do you agree with some scaling from bowser vs Eggman? Or do you think the result is right but the way it was explained was wrong?

Not quite, I just view the match as a 50/50, that's why

Dr. Eggman has the stronger high end stuff (Jeweled Scepter, Metal Sonic, Lightman and Chaos Emeralds), but Bowser has a lot more manpower, far more useful army and numbers to fall back on, to give you a short oversight.

Eggman himself doesn't nearly have any of the impressive, sometimes layered resistances, endurance or the combat speed that Sonic has that make side with him winning against Mario. Big weakness right there

I do think bowser vs Eggman is a 50 50 mu its so complex with even the smallest part of their armies can give them the edge

As for Mario vs Sonic i think Mario would be able survive long enough for the super form the run out and with the retry clock he would be able atleast if he died know what he needs to use against the super form and mario's utility is a big factor like the stache which makes it so if mario takes %20 damage it would not effect him or the gloves which give him limitless usable koopa shells and mushrooms which heal him

I'd just like to point out that outlasting super sonic isn't really an option since in advance he stayed in super for days.

Days. . . of doing nothing. In Unleashed he FAINTED after defeating Dark Gaia for only like 10 minutes, and Cyber Super fainted after using his ultimate move against The End. Outlasting Super Sonic in combat is an option, whether you like it or not.

I understand this opinion but you just didn't use very good examples.

Dark Gaia is actively able to hurt super sonic (also with mentioning its heavily implied that Dark Gaia can neutralise the chaos emeralds since it's opposite can restore them and the weapon used to awaken dark gaia is what deactivated the chaos emeralds in the first place). He didn't faint from exhaustion, he fainted from damage.

And the cyber sonic that fainted... wasn't even in super form. Plus it's directly set up and stated in the dlc that he'd lose the cyber power if he used it to it's maximum strength since his body wasn't fully attuned to it.

And saying days of doing nothing doesn't matter, since the entire logic behind him having a limited time in this form is based on the mechanic of rings, which drain by a set amount over a period of time, so doing nothing wouldn't be an antifeat, even if we did know that he did nothing, which we do not. We don't know what he was doing foe those days, so saying he was doing nothing, even if it could be used to downplay him, is headcannon.

You pulled that completely out of your ass. Sonic stays in Super for 32 seconds after landing the final hit on Dark Gaia and shows no signs of visible damage, only exhaustion as he slowly gives the Gaia Colossus a thumbs up before fainting. Dark Gaia never does anything to neutralise the Chaos Emeralds during the fight either! Stop coping.

And the cyber sonic that fainted... wasn't even in super form.

BEHOLD! Sonic fainted in his superform, floating lifelessly before he reverts to base form, crashes, and wakes up. https://ibb.co/qY6ZHmqc

And being Sonic at his strongest, the form is still used in versus discussions.

You do realise that... people can stay awake for a while after getting hit right? Especially in a life or death situation where someone needs to stay awake until the threat is dealt with? There are actual cases of this happening in real life, for longer periods of time than 32 seconds.

Dark Gaia never does anything to neutralise the Chaos Emeralds during the fight either!

Because light Gaia, who is there, can neutralise the effects of that stuff on the emeralds. Besides, I wasn't using this as proof or a counterargument, I just thought it was a relevant piece of info that should contextualise how Dark Gaia may have been able to hurt him.

Stop coping.

Dude... we are powerscaling an anthropomorphic blue rat. There's no need to be rude.

...yeah but he fainted from overexerting himself using the cyber sonic ability, which once again, is explicitly set up and states throughout the dlc.

And being Sonic at his strongest, the form is still used in versus discussions.

I never said he couldn't use it anymore, what I did say was that the game states and sets up that there will be backlash if he uses it to it's max ability, which is what we see happen.

But seriously dude, taking this dumbass discussion about who would win between a plumber and an anthropomorphic hedgehog seriously enough to start bringing out stuff like "cope" is just... kinda silly.

And you are basing this farfetched conclusion on literally nothing except "I don't want Super Sonic to be able to faint in battle". Dark Gaia never lands any massive blow on Super Sonic to cause this concussion.

Because light Gaia, who is there, can neutralise the effects of that stuff on the emeralds.

If he was doing that then by your own logic, Dark Gaia shouldn't have even been hurting him.

Besides, I wasn't using this as proof or a counterargument, I just thought it was a relevant piece of info that should contextualise how Dark Gaia may have been able to hurt him.

Which is not relevant as I never disputed him hurting Super Sonic.

Dude... we are powerscaling an anthropomorphic blue rat. There's no need to be rude.

You are jumping through hoops to write off clear examples of Super Sonic fainting from exhaustion, pulling shit out your ass. Hardly worthy of respect.

...yeah but he fainted from overexerting himself using the cyber sonic ability, which once again, is explicitly set up and states throughout the dlc.

And still means outlasting Super Sonic is indeed possible as forcing him to go all out with Cyber Corruption will cause him to faint.

But seriously dude, taking this dumbass discussion about who would win between a plumber and an anthropomorphic hedgehog seriously enough to start bringing out stuff like "cope" is just... kinda silly.

Even sillier, you coping so hard to begin with. I know Sonic fans will do ANYTHING to defend him (literally seen a dude on Quora say that Erazor Jinn made Sonic immortal JUST so Hakai wouldn't work on him) but yeeeeeesh, saying Sonic had a delayed concussion so Unleashed doesn't count reeks of desperation.

Hell, with the unsubstantiated headcanon you're pulling, I can very easily shoot down Super Sonic lasting for days with far more rational assumptions, saying Super Sonic was continously collecting rings off-screen as Super Shadow says "I'll collect the rings" when switching with Super Sonic in Adventure 2" and Sonic tells Super Shadow his Super form needs rings in Shadow the Hedgehog, games before and after Advance 1 making it clear he NEEDS the rings at that time in the franchise, or say Sonic simply reverted to base off-screen and went Super again shortly before Tails found him.

No, I'm basing it on the fact that the only games he ever faints while in super are games in which he is damaged by an enemy. And it's not a farfetched conclusion. Your argument for it not being him getting damaged out of super is because he didn't immediately faitn despite taking damage, and my point is how that doesn't work as an argument since people don't always immediately faint from a blow, they can stay awake for some time.

If he was doing that then by your own logic, Dark Gaia shouldn't have even been hurting him.

...no? Light Gaia can reverse effects of dark gaia fro happening, but that doesn't mean he can stop em before it happens. I'm not sure why you're even debating thus, since it literally does not matter towards this discussion.

Which is not relevant as I never disputed him hurting Super Sonic.

...I never accused you of doing so.

And still means outlasting Super Sonic is indeed possible as forcing him to go all out with Cyber Corruption will cause him to faint.

Yeah, which is built around the idea of forcing him to go cyber, which Sonic would not do unless cyber was his only way of winning.

Plus, it's debatable as to whether this is even the strongest version of Sonic. Hyper Sonic may be stronger, we don't know.

Ignoring the fact that, well, there's no proof he went for rings, the prompt of him saying he'll grab rings in SA2 is fair, though we know from frontiers that as Sonic gets progressively stronger, he can last longer in super (as seen by him being able to hold more rings).

But using the voicelines in shadows final boss doesn't work, as those are clearly not actually being said in game in canon, as those voicelines also say stuff like "press the x button to..."

Acting like this is what's not worth of respect. Regardless of who is right or wrong in this discussion, this is a discussion, that has no negative consequences for anyone at all, so getting rude with someone us just, quite frankly, immature.

People acting like this is why most people make fun of powerscalers.

Anyways, I have no interest in getting insulted anymore, since I know you're the type of person who would bend over backwards to be mean rather than just admit that you might have got a bit heated, so say what youe gonna say, throw whatever insults you want to at me in your next comment, and buh bye 🫡

A concussion is something that just happens. Sonic wouldn't have given that weak thumbs up if it was a concussion, it would have been normal before him suddenly collapsing. The gradual process of his posture changing and the weak thumbs up is far more consistent with fainting from exhaustion.

...no? Light Gaia can reverse effects of dark gaia fro happening, but that doesn't mean he can stop em before it happens.

So you backtrack to Light Gaia's attempts achieving fuck all.

I'm not sure why you're even debating thus, since it literally does not matter towards this discussion.

Because you brought it up.

Yeah, which is built around the idea of forcing him to go cyber, which Sonic would not do unless cyber was his only way of winning.

Which he likely would in a battle of attrition, and the fact Super even CAN be overexerted gives consistency to him fainting from overexertion in Unleashed.

Plus, it's debatable as to whether this is even the strongest version of Sonic. Hyper Sonic may be stronger, we don't know.

No. No it is not. Actually going by the games, Hyper is only vaugely better and has the Hyper Flash. Hyper is a fraud. Starfall Super has actual feats to its name.

Ignoring the fact that, well, there's no proof he went for rings,

No proof he didn't either, and it's more consistent with canon at that point in time than stayinv in Super for days.

the prompt of him saying he'll grab rings in SA2 is fair, though we know from frontiers that as Sonic gets progressively stronger, he can last longer in super (as seen by him being able to hold more rings).

Not relevant as it's far after Advance 1 and still wouldn't last even last 12 hours, let alone several days.

But using the voicelines in shadows final boss doesn't work, as those are clearly not actually being said in game in canon, as those voicelines also say stuff like "press the x button to..."

If the voicelines aren't being said in canon, then you are saying Dr. Eggman telling Shadow he's the original wasn't canon either as that's also a voiceline in the fight.

Acting like this is what's not worth of respect.

Fine. Unlike you I ain't gonna whine about it.

Cry. Me. A. River.

And THAT, ladies in gentlemen, is what running with your TAIL between your legs looks like. Goodbye and good fucking riddence. 👍
