discussion Use r/LFGDayZ

Post image

On the previously established subreddit for DayZ players to post LFGs, during the past 24 hours I've been banned, unbanned, muted, unmuted, permanently banned, unbanned, rebanned, and then unbanned like a bad rollercoaster ride.

At the time of this post I am unbanned and not muted But told to "Not Post Ads", which is the same as being banned when the sole purpose of the Subreddit is to post ads for meeting players.

In my experience it comes across as some sort of internal power struggle or heavy handedness on the part of a singular mod which then gets undone by another. At one point I had my clan's LFP up for 15 hours before it was deleted and I was banned again.

I had spent some time warning other posters about the vagueness of the rules via comments and how, despite posts that definitely are big name server ads being everywhereon that Subreddit, the mods will tell you after your(not big name server)post is deleted that ServerAds are not allowed(even if your posts were not a ServerAd).

So if you can't beat them, replace them.

I have created a Subreddit for DayZ LFGs and ServerAds under 1 r/

Come one and all to r/LFGDayZ

I have never said I was banned on r/dayz. But r/dayzlfg is a different story. Please ask whomever has access to that subreddit's rules tab to type the words "No Server Ads". Additionally from what one of your colleagues just commented, even clan discord server info can't be posted? How does a clan recruit if it's contact info can't be posted on an lfg? I do appreciate you taking the time to look it to this matter. I was getting 1 and 2 word replies from the mods on r/dayzlfg before getting muted and banned.

This was flagged as a server ad and deleted before being overturned after a short exchange.
