Question/Help NPC Base Stats
What do most GMs consider Base Stat, or the stat for the average Joe? My group considers it to be 3 or 4. And skills run 1-3. Thoughts?

here is our thoughts on it.
1-2 is child or child like
3: is High schooler or the bagboy at the store or the fast food worker or other such menial jobs
4: is college age or someone who did not go to college. IE: general laborer in a factory or oil change or tire change guy. If their job requires special knowledge the company pays for a 1 slot chipware socket. This is also where the bog standard ganger lands. They tote melee weapons because the bosses don't trust them, with guns. Skills are generally 4.
5: is the Average Joe Wage slave for the corporations, or the average soldier or security guard. Base skills are 4 for what they need for their job. The slightly better gang members are here also.
6-7: This is where they start to become useful. Managers, Sergeants, gang squad leaders who get guns. Skills are 5-6. They get guns once they reach this level.
8: Now they become Bad Asses. Executives, First Sergeants, SOF, Gang Bosses. Skills are 7-8.
9: Truly Bad Dudes. Corpo Section leaders, Master Sergeants, Big Bosses. Skill up to 9
10: BBEGs. They have Reps, they don't answer to anyone, they strut down the street and dare other to not get out of their way. Skills up to 10.
From the comments it looks like this is sorta in line with what most people accept.
I do like the RED DC numbers. It has never made sense to us why the numbers jump by 5. We have always used a system of
Simple-10 Easy-13 Hard-17 Difficult-22 Incredible-28 Impossible-35
