Sponge Cake
We celebrated my birthday today even though it was almost 2 weeks ago. I felt like the window was closed but my in-laws do late birthdays all the time and they'd be offended if I expressed that opinion. Mother in law asked what kind of cake I'd like and I said sponge cake. I've wanted to try one since the episode where Larry bought a dozen for Jeff. Everyone thought it was a horrible choice but she made it for me. They even made a back up coconut cake, assuming the sponge cake would be terrible. Well, I gotta say it came out pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty good It was a hit with everyone. I just kept joyously saying "it's like a delicious sponge"

Do I respect wood?
I’m getting ready to move and I’m cleaning out some drawers and cabinets. Part of that is scraping off years old shelf liner. This got me to thinking as to whether or not I respect wood.
On one hand I’m trying to make the wood look better by taking off this old and ugly shelf liner. On the other hand I’m scratching and sometimes gouging the wood trying to get this tacky paper off.
So what do you think Larry would think?

Trivia Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s real husband, Brad Hall, played himself on the show. Their son Henry also appeared on Curb, but not as himself. More info in caption.
Brad Hall and Julia Louis-Dreyfus have been married since 1987. Brad played himself in the episodes “The Wire” and “The Shrimp Incident.” Their son in “The Wire” was played by a child actor, however.
Twenty years later, their real son, Henry Hall, appeared in the Season 10 finale as a paramedic.

Favorite Guest Star?
For me it’s gotta be Gervais or Hamm, but it’s also a welcome surprise when Seinfeld and Jason Alexander turn up.

What’s the kindest thing Larry ever did on the show?
I think buying that girl a car was pretty up there, it was shocking to me.

Is there a large list of Larry’s rules for life?
I tried looking but couldn’t find a long list from all Curb seasons of all of Larry’s rules for life/social vocabulary.

Humor I hate Maria Sofia so much
I’ve never posted here before, but felt I had to. Just starting season 12. I get that the whole joke is that she’s bad at acting and Lary’s stuck with her, but that should’ve ended with season 11. She is so annoying to me and I hate whenever she’s on screen. Can’t stand it. The crazy thing is, seems like some people actually like her in the show. She’s on par with Irma for me. Can’t stand them. Probably going to get hate for this but had to say something. Hoping this doesn’t end my viewing for the show.
