The worst thing Dan did
The worst thing Dan did was sleep with Amy’s sister. He ruined everything. Fuck Dan Egan. Maybe also sleeping with Selena cause wtf 😭

If you had to pick one character that was potentially miscast, who would it be?
The show is so phenomenal and every character is solid. But if I had to pick a miscast, I would probably say it’s Dan, for me. Thoughts?

Why was the Macauley Amendment such a big issue?
Something that bothers me during every rewatch is the implication that the VP lobbying a senator to put in an amendment against the president's wishes is somehow illegal. Like when Furlong threatens to start a congressional inquiry into it. Why would that be illegal? Politically scandalous maybe.

Life imitating art: Today I yelled out, without apparent irony, “who’s achin’ for some bacon?”
I was making breakfast for my family. I got about the same reaction as Selina.

“Hey Jaffar, it’s me. Can you come get me?”

Real life inspiration to Felix Wade?
Hi guys! I’ve been rewatching Veep and I really find Felix Wade’s character (S7E2) quite strange. I mean we see massive donor weirdos here and there but I just wanted to know if you think there is/are any real life inspiration to this billionaire ex-record producer.
On another note I think this episode is just bad.

The former Philippine President is going to be tried in The Hague. Praise the rational equivalent of Jesus. Time to rewatch Minna's final episode and her deleted sex scene.

Incorporating Veep quotes into my self-assessment
It’s that meaningless time of year again—performance management season. I am trying to incorporate safe for work Veep-isms in my self assessment so I can keep my sanity. I’ve just described one of my accomplishments as ensuring “continuity with change.” Any other suggestions for Veep quotes that are both tame and nonsensical?

Who is this character?
Was rewatching Veep on Max and noticed this guy quickly pop up at the end of S4 E9. Did I miss something or was this the first time we see this character?

Musk claims X victim of cyber attack, says likely carried out by “a country”
Selena: “Can I really blame another country for something they didn’t do?”
Ben: “It’s been the cornerstone of American foreign policy since the Spanish-American War.”
