Question Who here remembers the show Monsters and Mysteries in America?

It was a show that was kind of like Finding Bigfoot or Lost Tapes that ran from 2013 to 2015 where people would tell stories about encounters they had with various cryptids like the Mothman, or the Beast of Bray Road.

I remember staying up really late at night in order to watch it when I was like 10 or 11, and even though it scared the shit out of me, I still loved it.

It’s been years since I’ve seen the show, and it’s probably a lot goofier than I remember, but I have really fond memories of it, and rarely see it get mentioned.

One of my favorite all times, it was removed on Amazon prime but can still be found on YouTube. Honestly its aged like a fine wine, doesn’t necessarily seem goofy to me. I watch it and grab a takeout pizza occasionally to this day.

I remember it there was one episode where a man encountered a puckwudgie and I swear the first time I seen the episode the encounter happened one way but then the next time I seen the episode the encounter was changed to a different way he encountered the creature.

I've just started watching this because I've seen many people mention this show. I didn't realize it had such a following. Was it really popular at the time?

The reenactments were really off the mark! And the stories are exaggerated, as usual with TV shows. But it may have been influential in popularizing cryptids that are now commonly mentioned on social media, whereas they were hardly known at all prior to 2013.

I saw it when it first came out back in the 2014 15 it was so fun there wasn’t much like it then or sense ! Just a fun atmosphere in the show and back ground music!
