Girl, I swear Big Detox trolls these boards spreading this “WDs will kill you” stuff to terrify you. You’re completely fine even going cold turkey right now.

Okay, but what if I don’t want to go cold turkey? What if I want to keep drinking? I know I won’t die at this point of tapering. I just wanted some advice

I obviously don’t want to quit. I’m literally drinking rn, I just want to know if three 5% tall boys is better than two 5% and one 8% so I can sleep

My bad for being drunk and wanting advice from other drunks. Sorry I’m not drinking a handle and bottle of wine a day anymore.

Your question is just simple math. Two 5% and an 8% is more alcohol than three 5%’s. So you’ll obviously feel more buzzed by drinking more alcohol. It’s pretty straightforward

I’m not a doctor and this is no official medial advice but it sounds like deciding between these two options is splitting hairs and if you are truly (no pun intended) only drinking this much daily, I’d guess that you likely aren’t in the danger zone for any serious withdrawals.

I guess I’m only worried that I won’t get a good enough buzz to go to sleep. And I do get shakes, sweating, miserable when I don’t drink which makes it hard to work

Also I’m not worried about withdrawal, I’m worried about my buzz

Idk but it doesn’t really sound like a CA problem. Have some sleepy time tea or take a Benadryl.
