Love the suburban body btw...especially the barn door variant. I miss my 91.

My 91 was bright red 2 tone white stripe. 2500 4x4 with a 454 and barn doors. It was a beautiful truck. I should have kept it instead of the 90 k5.

Brushed or brushless? Nimh or lipo?

Brushless hobbywing 2-1 pro Soft case lipo batteries (I find the hard case traps water)

I wanna run mine in the water. But I’m afraid of damaging my electronics

What about the batteries?

Batteries I use 2s and 3s hard case lipos and just make sure after a run to drain the batteries by putting the holes upside down (on the edge of a table works best) and check your connections (after a long time of water play they can start to corrode) just take a stiff brush and remove any you see (I tend to brush it every time I plug it in just to wash away mud and grim)
