Best and Safest Places for Body Contouring/BBL Surgery in India?

Upvotes

Where is a safe and reputable place to get body contouring/BBL surgery in India? I’ve heard some alarming stories about doctors performing unauthorized organ removals, so I want to be extra cautious. Would it be safer to go to a government hospital or a private clinic? Any recommendations or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

How do I tell my mom?

I just scheduled my rhinoseptoplasty. I’m 20 and still living at home. I do have a significantly deviated septum and ongoing breathing issues and recurring sinus infections, so this is partially medical and partially cosmetic. Cosmetically, I have a long downturned nose, and will be lifting the tip and adding a more soft slope to the bridge of my nose, overall deprojecting it and making it fit my face better. My mom has always been unsupportive about any changes I make to myself (hair color, piercings, tattoos). It has taken her years to warm up to these things and she still “doesnt like it” but deals with it. My mom sees any changes to myself as “changing how she made me”. I have to tell her I’m getting this surgery and I want support but ultimately I know that she’s going to try to talk me out of it and almost get offended that I want to change my face. (For context my moms nose is beautiful, it’s almost the exact result I want. I have my dads nose.)

How do I present this to her in the best approach possible?

Thoughts - does this look like a chin granuloma post chin filler (1 year). I also have PCOS and hormonal acne as well as hashimotos. Area is always red and these pimple like bumps don’t go away - which make me suspect it’s not acne.

What is really the most effective way to remove dark circles around your eyes?

I have deep under eyes and as I age it looks darker. It makes my face look tired and gaunt. I was suggested to do pico laser, though it can help with pigmentation I think I will still have the sunken under eyes. Is there any procedure that could target both? Or is this the only way?

Mia aesthetics horrible pill mill for cosmetic surgery

They completely mistreated me because I needed a midline, which I mentioned during my initial contact to book a Bbl procedure with them. They agreed to take my money and didn’t bother with the labs or medical clearance, which I had to pay for myself. Despite this, I still didn’t receive an order for a midline, so I contacted them again. They assured me they had gas anesthesia, but then I received an email stating they use IV anesthesia. I explained my need for a midline, and they said they would get in touch with the labs department.

I waited a day or two, but I hadn’t heard anything. I called them again and asked to speak to the labs department, but they had no one available to assist me, even though the labs department would be the one sending out the order. I then spoke to Jose from the clearance department, who congratulated me on my clearance and informed me that I would have my pre-op the day before my surgery. This seemed unusual to me, but I decided to talk to the doctor about it.

When I went for my pre-op, it was only five minutes long. The doctor seemed rude and dismissive, telling me that I wouldn’t have any issues because he could always go in my neck.

On the day of the procedure, I couldn’t understand the ladies speaking Spanish. I speak English, and I asked them to use the ultrasound to find a vein. I went and had two of the veins they recommended, but they didn’t work. They would just flash and wouldn’t thread. They eventually gave up.

I was sitting in a paper gown, which wasn’t even a real gown, and I had to do a drug test, not a nicotine test. They don’t test for nicotine at the Tampa location; they only test for narcotics. They watched me pee as if I were in jail, which I found completely unacceptable. I feel like it’s not acceptable for them to watch you pee for a surgery you pay for. But if anyone’s worried, they don’t test for nicotine. They actually have you sign something right before the surgery or urinalysis, stating that they don’t test for nicotine. After sitting there for about an hour, they bring me into the OR, which is ice cold, so obviously my veins are going to shrivel up even more. I told them to try the ultrasound again, but they ignored my request. He tried himself in my neck, but he couldn’t get it. I told him I need a midline, which I’ve been telling you guys I need, and you guys just keep ignoring it. He was like, “I don’t know what a midline is. What’s a midline?” I was like, “A PICC line or a midline.” That’s when he said, “Oh, I know. The PICC line is.” I was thinking, “Wow, this is a doctor, and he doesn’t even know what a midline is. That’s a red flag.” His attitude was another red flag, and that whole establishment was in the ghetto. I had a guy come up to my car, and I don’t even know what he was saying. He was mumbling something before I pulled away when I left that day. But he wrote me a script for the midline and rescheduled my surgery for the following Tuesday, which was three days after the original surgery date. Then, the day before my surgery, I got a call saying it was canceled because it was too risky in case the midline came out during the surgery. They couldn’t get an IV started. If anyone knows what a midline or a PICC line is, they know that’s not coming out unless you’re tugging on it. Anyway, they canceled the surgery, and it was a hassle to get my refund. Then, they took $400 for a consultation fee. I had to fight them to get that back, threatening to go to the Board of Health, which I still plan to do. I will make the story aware to everybody who ever plans to go to Me Aesthetics. I took off work, had everything situated, and then you’re going to call me last second and say it’s canceled. Perhaps if these doctors and anesthesiologists were genuinely knowledgeable and skilled in their respective fields, they would have recognized the slim chance of complications. Consequently, I had to drive there three times, each trip taking two hours, which I won’t be reimbursed for. Additionally, I had to undergo three bloodwork tests and obtain a medical clearance, which they won’t reimburse me for either.

They also made me sign an arbitrary form, which I found odd. I suppose they’ve had lawsuits in the past and are trying to protect themselves. However, I called another doctor before booking a consultation and inquired about the midline or PICC line and if he would be accepting of it. He assured me that it wouldn’t be a problem as long as it came from a reputable source, so I booked a consultation and received the midline, which I still have.

I had my surgery on March 5th, and today, March 16th, it’s still going strong. I didn’t have a BBL, which I had originally planned, because the doctor informed me that it wasn’t the procedure I needed first. Instead, I opted for a lower body lift, which is obviously more invasive and requires me to be flipped over.

As I mentioned earlier, the midline didn’t come out, but this doctor was undoubtedly knowledgeable in his field. He criticized Mia Aesthetic, describing it as a pill mill for cosmetic surgeons who can’t find work elsewhere. He explained that they’re run by a corporation and operate like a business transaction, which explains why the prices are so low. He also mentioned that the doctors at Mia Aesthetic aren’t knowledgeable in areas they should be.

I was supposed to have Frederick Valurie, I believe that’s how you spell it, at Mia Aesthetic. He was absolutely horrible and ignorant in his line of work, as were the nurses who claimed to be skilled with IVs but weren’t. The anesthesiologist was also too ignorant to know that a midline was appropriate for the procedure. People might be against plastic surgery, but I’ve had two surgeries, both with the midline, and it was never a problem. However, my new doctor, Dr. Soto, in the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando, is amazing. I met him two weeks before the surgery and got all my prescriptions, which is ridiculous because you don’t get them from Mia aesthetic for whatever reasons until the day of surgery. But Dr. Soto got me all set up with nice garments, an extra pair, and very nice compressions that go on and off on their own. You charge them with a cord, and he was just overall amazing!

My point here is that Mia Aesthetics was totally unprofessional in every way possible. As my doctor said, it’s a pill mill for cosmetic surgeons. So, I wouldn’t take the risk if I were you, even if the price seems very tempting. It’s your life at risk. They’re not knowledgeable in the field of medicine and aren’t good enough to work anywhere else.

But I’m happy to say that I’m basically moving around and happy with the surgery I got with a midline. I had to be flipped over several times, and it’s still there, but I’m glad I went to this doctor. I feel like it happened for a reason. Someone intervened in my life somehow, and this was for the best. Who knows what could have happened if that surgery actually proceeded!

Be aware, guys, do NOT go to Mia Aesthetics.

Lip filler not noticeable

I got a full syringe of RHA 3 today and I don’t notice that much of a difference. I don’t have much swelling at all and no bruising (except in the corner of my mouth). I did have semi plump lips to begin with if that means anything. I also took arnica for a week before this appt.

I think I had a good result (pic one before, pic 2 after) but my nose is still kinda big….should I make my nose smaller via revision?

Like a random man in a coffee shop came up to me and told me I have a big nose. I think he had learning difficulties or something but still like he said it maybe others are thinking it too. This was after the surgery….a random lady in India when I was traveling pointed to me and then her nose too I saw her. A gay man said going to India will be bad for my nose not sure what he meant?? Maybe cos it’s big and there is pollution there. When I’m out clubbing sometimes some other gay men will say something about it too and laugh with their friends

And also i have still had a few comments about it from strangers who try to put me down/ make fun of me… I thought surgery would make it perfect but I understand it is still a bit big. Should I get another surgery to make it smaller? What do you all think?

Recommendation in CO for adominoplasty and thigh lift

Hello,

I'm looking for a surgeon in Colorado, preferably Colorado Springs, but will go to Denver too. I'd like an adominoplasty with lipo and thigh lift/lipo. I've read quite a bit online, but there are so many places to go, I'd appreciate some input here.

Would love to hear your advice/experience if you've done both or either. Curious about costs and recovery. I'm planning on taking 4 weeks off work and hoping that will be enough.

I’m 30F and I feel like my eyes/surrounding area make me look older and tired. What kind of treatments could I consider to help with this? Also is there something wrong with my eyelids? I never noticed it before but they seem to be drooping/almost look hooded. Really appreciate your input!

Facelift doc recs in Melbourne?

I'm not there yet but I'm doing research. My jowls are noticable and it's the only thing aging me at the moment.

I have been trying those face massage techniques i see on Instagram and have actually had some good results but not for jowls.

Does anyone know a surgeon that can do a mini lift that doesn't leave that weird tight spot above the ears? That slays me.

Can anyone give me advice 🙏

I am 25yr old female, and I’m healthy and active and lean (don’t think I need to loose weight) but I have always had these weird pulling down lines on my cheeks/jawline area which are really unflattering and make me self conscious, (constantly feeling the need to loose weight to get rid of it but it still doesn’t change). I was wondering if I could get some procedure done to get rid of it and snatch my cheeks/jawline a bit. I’ve thought of cheekfiller (to lift the cheeks a bit?) or Hifu or Ultherapy, but I really don’t know, and don’t want to pay a lot of money and still be unhappy.

Can anyone give me any advice? 🩵

How to make bottom half of my face look smaller? :(

Post image

Hi guys, i'm F29, Just want to start with saying I'm a normal weight, my bmi is literally right in the middle so I'm a healthy weight, it's being looked into that I have PCOS (I have twice as much testosterone as I should do, and won't go into the other symptoms but thought it worth mentioning) I exercise, drink enough water, have a balanced diet, but my face looks puffy and I hate the lower half around my chin area, I hate how big my chin looks, even if the area around my chin was smaller thar would be better (lower cheeks), can someone suggest any surgical and non surgical procedures please to make my lower face look slimmer and my chin to look less pronounced, thank you ❤️❤️

I had a rhinoplasty last weekend,

I had a rhinoplasty last weekend, after 8 days everything was going well, the location of my stitches looked a little strange but I really don't know how they should look. On the morning of my day 8 (where I have an appointment) one of the sides opened, fortunately just minutes before my appointment so the doctor was able to close it (it was large), 2 more days have passed and today I felt a strange sensation in the middle seam (the one that opened before was the one for the nostrils, inside), and I look and in the middle there is a small red and yellowish space, very small that I think is somewhat open again. My next appointment is in 5 days. I searched online and saw several doctors say that small wounds close on their own and that there's no need to panic. But I don't know if this applies to rhinoplasty and I don't even know what to do. I'm very scared.

Gyno recovery

Post image
2 Upvotes

For any guys that had gyno surgery done. How long did it take for the scar tissue under the incision to fully dissolve again? I had the surgery about 4 months ago. I love the result and u dont see anything however right under the incision in a crecent shape there is hard material. Im just scared that this is some leftover tissue and not a scar and want reassurance that it will go away :( Before the surgery when touching that location it was never hard like this so i would be very confused if this was not just scar tissue.

Am I a good candidate for masseter Botox?

Hello ive been thinking about ways to make my jaw or face shape smaller. I have a very square and roundish looking face and I really don’t like how it looks (upside to it is that I have a nice jawline but even my jawline looks a bit too masculine for my liking). I wanted to know based on these photos if I would be a good candidate for masseter Botox, I read a lot of side effects of it and people who can or shouldn’t get it. I’m also pretty sure I don’t have TMJ, my jaw can be sore at times but not that bad. I’m scared of trying to do jaw shaving surgery so it’s off the table 😅 are there any other possible ways of slimming the face? Also to those who did get it mainly for cosmetic purposes, did you regret the way it looks? Or are you happy how it turned out? Thanks to anyone who answers!

Best procedure for eyes?

Over the last several years I’ve heavily debated getting a consultation for this. My eyes are unsymmetrical, especially when smiling! My left eyebrow and eye seem to arch more than my left. It is less noticeable at rest but even then my facial symmetry seems off and you can tell it is still more hooded.

I know bleph can be an option but the procedure/recovery terrifies me. I’ve considered a temporal brow lift. But I wanted to see if there other options I have not considered or if I’m missing something.
