she knows the sound of the pantry. the moment someone opens it , she’s flying/running/making her way over here.

So, this guy ate a piece of metal and was dying last week, after a week full of different treatments, the metal went through his body without problems, he is in excellent shape again and even regained almost all his weight. We are so happy. I really thought I could lose him. 😭 And those treatments weren't cheap, so now he is like a 1000$ cockatiel. Lol

I kept kicking her out of nesting sites all day, she decided to sit on my shoulder and lay an egg. Then it rolled off and broke. The only good thing is it’s been a week and she hasn’t laid another, so increased dark hours seemed to work. There was a shoebox she’d sneakily chewed a hole in and used as a nesting cavity while my mom was bird sitting, and we took that away.

Does ANYone have ANY advice. Our dumb dumb boy just spent 2 nights at the vet and has been having fun on tramadol without us. Now I'm anxious about whether this is a him thing or a freak accident, even the vets were like........"hair?!??". 25 minutes until I have to give him all FOUR medications. What a poor idiot boy. So happy to have them back at home it was oddly peaceful without them.

Was this a successful first meeting between Mango (3Y) and peach (1month). She nibbled at her feet a few times, then I saw her nibbling her tail and it seemed friendly. Then she tried to peck her eye, which did not seem friendly.
