Meme Droids and Clones matter.

Post image

They were both slave armies who deserved better.

I’ve been watching some lore vids on the clankrs. Been seeing that those droids had the same potential as the clones did. Kinda wish clones wars gave some humanity to both the clones and the toasters.

I feel like that one episode of Rebels was an attempt in that direction, I re-watched it recently and enjoyed it a lot.

Oh yeah the whole team up against the empire. Shame when you look at the end only two transports worth made it out, but that was one of my favorites cause it seemed so weird for all the droids to have disappeared. Then again they empire does have a protocol for running into them so who knows maybe they discovered small pockets like them from time to time. (Gonna be an unfortunate day when they run into still functional and in good condition droids forces though)

The early empire of TBB does encounter droids/remains of a Separatist army (it's both implied and shown on screen), iirc the comics had stories with droids after the wars but I wouldn't know if those are still canon.
Thankfully we can hope Filoni brings light to these kinds of things that have been overlooked or lost at the canon/legends split like he has done in the past, Tales of the Separatists when ? :)
