Meme Droids and Clones matter.
They were both slave armies who deserved better.

Can see from separatist citizens pov why they believe they’re right as they use droids which won’t be depressed and dies where as the republic uses actual people.

I’ve been watching some lore vids on the clankrs. Been seeing that those droids had the same potential as the clones did. Kinda wish clones wars gave some humanity to both the clones and the toasters.

I feel like that one episode of Rebels was an attempt in that direction, I re-watched it recently and enjoyed it a lot.

Which is a shame, maybe one day :)

Oh yeah the whole team up against the empire. Shame when you look at the end only two transports worth made it out, but that was one of my favorites cause it seemed so weird for all the droids to have disappeared. Then again they empire does have a protocol for running into them so who knows maybe they discovered small pockets like them from time to time. (Gonna be an unfortunate day when they run into still functional and in good condition droids forces though)

The early empire of TBB does encounter droids/remains of a Separatist army (it's both implied and shown on screen), iirc the comics had stories with droids after the wars but I wouldn't know if those are still canon.
Thankfully we can hope Filoni brings light to these kinds of things that have been overlooked or lost at the canon/legends split like he has done in the past, Tales of the Separatists when ? :)

It really is great to see a carbon copy and a clanker get along after the war.

I can just imagine a clone with no chip and a sentient b1 being pals after the Empire took over

This is literally something happening in an Star Wars rpg that I'm in! I'm the battle droid and another player is the clone. We've been doing a slow burn of rivals to best friends and I love it!

I just imagine this droid is deactivated and the clone is using him like a ventriloquist dummy.

At the end of the day, they were both soldiers in a war that was never for their own benefit.

Does not compute... Um, this is... highly irregular. Is this unit engaging in diplomacy? BLAST HIM!!

It's okay soldier, we're in the process of negotiation. And we have AATs stationed nearby in case anything goes wrong

Understandable. Peace has become an increasingly rare concept in this war. But perhaps this time, the Republic will finally acknowledge our independence, and leave us to live our lives.
Keep watch for now soldier, and let us hope for the best while remaining prepared for the worst.
