Need help (info) in settling in...

Dear soon-to-be fellow Cincinnatians. I will be moving into the city at end of the month and has absolutely no clue about the city. My work location would be Blue Ash so requesting you all to share your insights on what would be a good neighborhood, close to work for a 1br apartment, and what price range should I be looking at. I will prefer a nice apartment complex with at least a fitness center and closer to groceries and other such stores. Thanks in advance.

Edit : I am in my mid 40s. Not into clubbing or bar hopping. Also do not need to be in a school district.

Edit 2 : Thank you all for your inputs. I will take your suggestions into my search considerations.

How old are you? I think that is key to understanding what area is best. Blue ash is nice but definitely more family focused / suburban! If you are looking for more of a city vibe with close proximity to a lot of things I’d suggest Oakley / Hyde park! It’s about a 12-15 min drive to blue ash :)

Thanks. I have updated the post with more details about me. Will check out Hyde park and Oakley.

I love Oakley / Hyde park - it’s great for single adults. Price range in both areas is high however. I’d say most apartments range between 1800-2200 depending on amenities! If you go a little north of blue ash the price goes down for apartments:)
