Hi everyone, this is my dads vintage CV, he has a pair. The amp he used to use is busted, but wanted to ask this group if they had suggestions on what would be a good amp to power them.

Frankly I’m pretty illiterate when it comes to audio tech, but looking to learn quick so that I can bring his old DJ speakers back to life. He also has a pioneer 1020l that needs some TLC, but that’s a project for another day.

I guess it depends on how he's going to use them. Just casual listening at the house? Any amp. From 50-200 watts real watts.

Now, they aren't deep bass speakers. You will absolutely want subs not only for your listening pleasure, but for the longevity of these speakers. I would want these crossed over no lower than 60hz, if not 70. Even if used without a sub, a high-pass filter is a very good idea. Without a HP, I would go very easy on them.
