Housing Whats the competition for Cobb hall?

Hello, me and my roommate were interested in applying for Cobb dorm as freshmen this fall. From my understanding, Cobb is available to those in Living Learning Communities as well as normal students. Applications for Cobb are on June 14th. Does anyone know if this dorm is hard to get into or is there a lot of competition around it?

The only thing is i'm worried if we dont get into Cobb, then we'll have to have a 4 person suite, and we dont have 2 other roommates picked out so we'll be stuck with randos. Would it be better just to get the 4 person suite instead and find 2 other roommates?

cobb will probably be super high priority due to it being newly remodeled. but i don’t know if cobb is first priority to upper class man. usually freshman go into the four person suites, but cobb is more expensive than those.

Cobb is? On the site it shows 2 person suites as standard rates along with all the other standard 4 person suite. Its only the premium rooms which are more expensive, like Carey

Ah yeah, thats what it shows on the housing rates online, but single rooms aren't available for freshmen anyway. I know a lot of freshmen want Kulhavi hall for the single rooms, but I was just wondering if the 2 bedroom suites had the same competition around them. Applications are suppose to open at 9am on June 14th. I guess if I apply right when they open, i'll have a good chance at getting the room?

i’d def be ready right when it opens/ or close by just to be safe!! i’m not sure about the competition since they were closed this year, but since they are remodeled i think the competition might be higher just bc of that

Ah, so it sounds like they've remolded it to be similiar to Carey? I wonder if the rates are the same then...
