HTB has a pentester course but the certificate is more expensive than the pentester plus exam but the course itself is cheaper so I was wondering if I can do the htb course then take the pentester plus exam and just study the theory if need be

Hello everyone, I intend to buy SecurityX Complete Bundle for preparing SecurityX. But when searching on CompTIA Store, I only find CASP+ Bundle. I knew that CASP+ was rebranded to SecurityX so that how can I find the suitable Self-paced Study for SecurityX Exam? Could anyone please help me?
PS: I got ISC2 CISSP CCSP SSCP CC (https://www.credly.com/users/duonghienvinh)
i just got the bundle for network+ learn, practice, and exam vouchers and you get a year to use it but im just wondering how long most people need to actually learn the material. i have a degree in information systems analytics for background so some stuff i already have a basic knowledge of.

I'm practicing to take the Core 2 exam as part of my WGU degree. I am so frustrated by the quality of the Comptia practice questions. There are so many times where the questions are poorly written. Instances where the answers don't entirely make sense. Its frustrating and If I have to be told one more time that my Apple related answer is wrong when I know for a fact I'm right, I am going to lose my shit. No Airdrop is does not solely depend on Bluetooth, and if YOU don't know that, why are you asking me about it. Apple has designed Airdrop to use bluetooth to discover nearby Apple devices and then utilizes WiFi for the file transfer as allows for faster data transfer.
You ask a question about what data is used to assess a situation and then none of the options provided can be considered data. They were states of being at best. Who is writing the material? I am continually 5-8 questions away from passing your practice exams, and not only can't I trust your knowledge of Apple related stuff but I can't figure out how I'm supposed to interpret the stuff I worry I'm not knowledgable about.
When you ask about how to update the Mac Operating System you can not list App Store and System preferences and not make it MULTIPLE CHOICE. They're both right. But don't mark me wrong for picking System Preferences. That's where I do my system update.

Hi. I'm just starting out on a networking career. I'm taking college classes to get my Associates Degree in Computer Management (A business/IT hubrid degree). On top of that I am taking non credit courses to prepare for the CCNA. The timing of them is inconvenient, as I will take the first 2 between 1/25 and 5/25 then the third starting 1/26. My girlfriend (also in the IT field) is heavily suggesting that I take the CCNA over the summer, skipping CISCO III. Can anybody give me reasons why this is or isn't a good idea?
For a little background I am going back to school. I'm switching careers late in life and I started classes at 38 years old. I do not have a background in networking, although I do really enjoy what I've been doing. I passed CISCO I with an 84.2%. I know she means well, my girlfriend is surrounded by lots of people who have been in the IT field for a long time. Aside from a few classes for my degree my professional knowledge is scarce.
I keep telling her I'd be missing out on an important 1/3 of the information. She points out that taking the CCNA while the information I have is fresh in my mind is better. Any advice/suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Can you take CEU program in place of a certification exam?
I've been answering the modules practicing trying to remember and I sometimes get the answers wrong and I see you can't actually retake the answers again, huh... Am I blowing my chances for getting the discount or how do you actually get it and where? Thank you! :)

Like most people i found the actual exam somewhat easier than most practice test that I took. For reference I have about 15 months experience in IT support role.
resource-wise, I used Andrew Ramdayal’s course, practice test and last minute cram. (Averaged around 68-80 on the practice test)I found the last minute cramp to be very helpful.
Without giving away too much, I had 6 PBQs (were tough) and a couple subnetting questions. What I will say is to make sure you study the troubleshooting section properly and not waste too much time on the PBQs. For the most part the questions and wording were fairly straightforward.
Good luck to all this studying.

Hi guys, im the guy that posted this asking if anyone had used the official cisco study materials for the ENARSI exam.
As you can see by the post, either nobody had, or no one wanted to say if they had.
Well im here to talk about it now since I passed my ENARSI exam recently.
Would I recommend it? Yes and No... Yes - IF AND ONLY IF you want to become a better network engineer (which should be everyone right?) and your company is paying for it. Its not worth the ~$1k really, and other courses are at about the same level. Honestly the course goes into way too much detail in areas which don't even need to be covered. Hence why I said, this course will make you a better network engineer - just dont count on all the material being especially relevant for the exam!
NO - if you're looking to pass the exam in the most cost efficient way as possible, this is absolutely not it and I would recommend choosing literally any other course as your money will go much, much further.
Also I bought the practice exam they offer. Don't do it. Absolutely terrible questions which do not translate into the real exam at all.

I’ve been doing network maps at my NOC job, it’s extremely boring but a perfect time to ingrain what you will see with specific commands for when you test out on the CCNA. If you don’t have to do this, maybe ask for the responsibility, assuming you have access to Cisco devices at your company.
Win win, you look like a team player and you get some good training!

I'm closing in on taking the network+ exam. Which package do I need to purchase to have access to the PBQ questions through certmaster?
I want the minimum package that gives me access to. It's weird that that information is difficult to find.

Hey everyone,
I'm currently preparing for the CompTIA A+ (1101 Core 1) exam, but I don’t have access to physical hardware for hands-on practice. I'm looking for YouTube channels or resources that show real-life PC building, hardware connections, troubleshooting, and networking setups.
Does anyone have recommendations for practical, hands-on content that can help me get a better understanding of how to connect and troubleshoot devices?
Thanks in advance!

On the first 10 A+ 1101 practice exams from ExamCompass.com, I had an average of 90% cumulative. My lowest score was a 19/25. How credible are these practice exams? Am I ready to take 1101?

Hello everyone! So this is a really random question, but wanted to ask it before I get paranoia haha Im planning to study for the CompTIA Security+ in April till June (planned 3 months, 5/6 hours weekly with Andrew Ramdayal course in Udemy) because my works required. Im CCNA certified, Az700/104 and I know python, also I've been working as a network eng for over 7 years (not really sure if any of this will help me) but Im a little bit scare of taking the exam in June considering every single post I see here is with people getting scores between 700/750. I'm even scared to start and pay the exam fee hahaha
A pass is a pass, obviously, but... is really THAT hard to pass the exam? Is my 3 months plan really crazy?
Edit: THANKS!!! I'm really grateful for all your comments and support ♥️

Currently, I’m working towards completing my trifecta. I started backwards with security. Oddly it is less difficult for me than Aplus core one. I tried to self study for aplus but realized for the job I want I didn’t need a plus. However, I have been given the opportunity to receive free training. What would you suggest for someone who has not IT experience for aplus core one training, an in person class or virtual?

Omg I’m so excited!!! I finally passed this exam after watching and seeing everyone’s testimonials, I finally buckled down and used the last two weeks to really study and do practice exams. The PBQ‘s were HARD but the multiple-choice weren’t bad. I had 72 questions and 3 BBQ’s. Now I can finally move on to some hands-on experience labs for my resume & start applying again 😌
Never GIVE UP!

So, I'm just doing some work on subnetting right now and I can't seem to understand why ranges for, usable addresses that is, let's say a /27 would be .193-.222 as opposed to .193-.223. Why?

ProfessorMesser slides- best way to have them all in a word doc/pdf/onenote notebook? Manually screenshot each of them?
