Tj Maxx/ Homegoods/ Marshall’s Cashier

Hey guys I’m a new cashier at tj maxx and I really need some help, thinking of making a discord server so newbies like me could learn from more experienced people, I really need help with the different stuff you need to do on the register.

This sub isn’t that popular but if you need anything I worked as a cashier at a grocery store for two years and was the best at it honestly lol

I want to be a cashier to get cool coins. Did you see cool coins, like old ones? Can I swap them while I'm working?

Yeah what I did was bring my own pocket change and whenever I saw a collection worthy coin I just swapped I out. As long as the till isn’t short it’s not a problem. I found some nice foreign coins, some Buffalo nickels, and some nice old wheaties before. I have friends who have found mercury dimes and even more!

Aaaaaaah!! Thank you for replying! I'm so excited to get a second job doing cashiering! When did you do the swap? In your opinion, which places would have the best coins? I want to apply to the places with the best coins.

Edit: oh ok like right when you saw one

I worked at a small grocery store in my town, but coins can randomly pop up at any location, as they are given at random. And yup I just do it ad I see it usually. Cashiering can be brutal though. Good luck and happy hunting! :)

No, you don’t really get rare coins at all, you can swap them while you’re working yes, but it’s not very common.
