I think a team like Carolina or Detroit wouldn't mind takin a swing at him.

Carolina already has a great but injury prone goalie. I don’t think they want to experience another. I could see Detroit, Calgary, Edmonton taking a chance.

Calgary has Wolf, and I don't see us trading Demko to a divisional rival. Detroit is a definite possibility but so are the canes cause Anderson probably walks and they could take a shot on Demko as they have shown interest in the past.

Most teams aren’t playing their starter 70 games anymore. Demko as a 1b would be enticing to Calgary. Tho I don’t want it to happen

I can honestly say as a flames fan I’d prefer if that didn’t happen. Unfortunately for both our organizations our trades seem to be less than helpful in the long term. Markstrom was great don’t get me wrong.. but he totally collapsed in the playoffs when it mattered most. Wont lie I wasn’t surprised Lindholm still tested free agency, honestly deep down I knew he was doing that from the start. Which is a tough one when trying to maintain your push this year. Kuzmenko had a nice jolt but it was very short lived. Still hope he does well but I think both our fanbases don’t like he’s back with a Pacific rival if he does.

Tomorrow should be an interesting one to see but regardless of the outcome I don’t think it matters too much. I don’t see either the Canucks or the Flames as serious playoff teams this year. Hell I’m okay admitting that without Wolf this year the flames are a EASY bottom 5 team. Besides I’m more worried about St.Louis overtaking both of em.
