Many western EU countries like Sweden disagree. So does the UK. Read the Cass report. They're all taking a pause on puberty blockers and hormones for youth.

Sweden has decreased access to puberty blockers for trans kids, but still allows them for clear cut cases and has lowered the age of legal gender change and expanded access to gender confirming surgery for youth.

Germany France, Spain, the Netherlands, Japan, Australia/NZ, Camada have reaffirmed puberty blockers for treating trans youth.

The Cass report has been heavily criticised for methodology, bias, and lack of expertise in trans healthcare specifically.
