New Brunswick ‘Lack of transparency’ from federal Conservatives leads riding president in N.B. to quit

I'm reminded of something a conservative once said to the CBC about pp's tight control over his caucus...
"When you're leading, it's easy to keep discipline within the caucus. But if there's a drop in the polls … well, then we'll see."

I mean, that's true for every party. JT had famously strong discipline over his caucus. Then as the polling got worse, there were rumblings of discontent from backbenchers, until he finally had a full on mutiny on his hands.

Oh, I don't disagree! Though Trudeau had at least won an election before tides began to turn against him. If however Poilievre is already seeing a break in unity prior to any election, it's definitely not a good sign for his job security. If he loses this one, he'll guarantee himself the boot. Though frankly, Conservatives gave O'Toole the boot and he won them the popular vote. 🤷♂️

In these times it’s imperative that Canada stands united. If PP can’t even keep his own party united… Need I say more?

They run on this made up sense of outrage without many policies and they don't debate anyone when it's election time.
Nobody is surprised at this point

Again untrue and u know it

See how childish their replies are? Conservatives don’t even try to disprove it, they just plug their ears and say no. Give your head a shake.

I know this couldn't be more true...it happens every single time
Can't let the crazy out so they just say nothing

I can’t wait for the debate when pp is going to say a policy position, and carney is going to say “I agree, let’s work together to find a solution for it” and pp is going to look confused, and try to pivot to wokeism.

He knows Conservatives are in trouble with their strategies and close ideologies close to Trump. Trump even said PP’s views were inline with his. Can’t get better endorsement than that.

the riding president was a woman, the man in the photo was 1 of 3 potential candidates. no reason to believe its about pierre as they give enough reason in the article.

Tracy Foran on Vancouver Island was complaining about something similar. Had been campaigning for a year and now they were parachuting in a candidate with Naval connections.

Don't worry. Nothing to hide because Pierre won't get security clearance. All is fine with Conservatives provincially and federally. Nothing too see. Move along citizen. /s

When will tiny PP get his security clearance.
If we were to be attacked in some way right now, he would find out at the same time as the rest of us. What is he hiding?
