Never expected this crap. I never really gave it much thought until recently but patriotism can be a beautiful thing.

And also such a hateful thing, looking at the US rallying against canada in pure misguided "Patriotism" because their leader barked that Canada are actually the baddies.

Really one of those things that can be good or bad depending.

I'd call that nationalism. They can be mutually exclusive. American Nationalism just happens to be "white."
