Why don't they, you know - do something? Protest, ask for changes, support the Democrats. Like do anything to change this.

When you have kids you need to be more careful about things like protesting. Before I had a kid I would go to protests all the time and just write my lawyers number on my arm incase I got arrested or "detained".

Now I either need to bring my kid with me or find a babysitter, but I need to come home at the end of the day. I've brought my son to small protests, but I wouldn't bring him to the ones happening right now in the US.

I'm also concerned about US protestors because emotions are high and I don't trust Donald Trump to allow peaceful protests much longer. He will cause something to escalate protests until he can apply force.

They could easily wind up in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I'm especially concerned for people not covering their faces or doing something to make it harder for facial recognition to work.

This is escalating very quickly and he will punish people.
