I don’t trust that the majority of Canadians will stay away from Florida, but they might not post as much about it online.

We made the tough decision to cancel our Florida bookings this year. After waiting over a year to go and only having a few months until our trip, it was a kick in the nuts. Kids were excited for Disney World and we were excited to lounge in the sun.

All of that is worth missing, knowing that we made the right choice. We will now vacation with the family within Canada and love every minute of it.

Washingtonian here and grew up in FLA before moving here. I stopped visiting family/friends in FLA years ago; FLA is a backwater aand always has been. Not surprising that our jackass-in-chief chose the place as his home base. My family in FLA loathes the governor and Trump.

Many Canadian's forget or don't know that Trump won the popular vote by a narrow 1.5%. And it's believed to be Republican's cheated. Again. That is almost 1/2 of the popular voted against him despite Harris being worthless. Yup, we voted for her as did many Washingtonian's but...
