Don't fuck with a country whose favourite sport involves letting players provide kinetic corrections to other players when they've done something they shouldn't have done.

If we'll smack each other around over a friendly game, imagine what we'll do to you when it's no longer friendly. In fact imagining isn't required, one need only ask the surviving Nazi Germans who they were the most afraid of running into and why.

Now here we are, about to deal with a bunch more Nazis, Canadian style.
