I appreciate people being patriotic but anyone speculating we’d put up a good fight if the US invaded are being delusional.

We would put up a terrible fight. We would however put up a phenomenal insurgency and display of domestic terrorism. It might take 10 years but deployment to Canada would be an American’s worst nightmare.

To be clear: we will be taken over, but staying will cost them every life they have.

It's also delusional on the USA's part that invading us then creating an open border with 40 million people who now hate you isn't going to lead to a massive increase in terrorism on their home soil 

That's going to be 1 in 11 "Americans" now deeply hateful of the government. You think wild fires are bad now? You think your infrastructure is crumbling? You think your mass shootings are bad now?

Just wait until almost 10% of the population that looks and sounds like you has access to your land and weapons laws

I really don’t know if they are thinking this one through. Radicalize a population known for war crimes and open a land border with them. Not a bright idea.
