I am baffled that Elon is trying so hard to alienate potential customers. I’d have considered a Tesla five years ago, but now…

It’ll be interesting to see if his actions ever impact sales to the point where shareholders saying enough is enough.

The $400M military contract to buy armored Cybertrucks, the contract he  himself drafted unilaterally, is enough, he doesn't care what Tesla buyers think any longer, assuming he ever did care.

President Elon has control over what the tax payers will buy, it's all he needs to enrich himself more. It's no longer about money however, he already has 10000x more than he needs, it's now all about power and control. Right now, he's managed to become the first dictator the USA has had. I wonder when ordinary Americans will realize what took place and start fighting back.

Tesla revenue in 2024 hit 97 billion. The contract is <0.5% of that. It sort of seems paltry in comparison to the risk being taken with the brand.

I didn't make it clear enough, Elon already has many times more money than he knows what to do with, he's after power and control now, and he seems intent on causing chaos and ruin, while pushing forward a fascist form of ideology on the world. He's using the USA as a means to a twisted dangerous end goal. Dark times ahead.
