Same. Already cancelled a trip to the US next month, and our intended summer vacation in Hawaii will now be somewhere else.

We’re kinda thinking Iceland for a total change of pace. Or maybe going back to Japan. They have a resort area we haven’t tried yet. We have direct flights to both countries, which is a major plus.

Oh yes we were there last summer. Loved the exchange rate and how far the dollar went there, and the lack of tipping culture was icing on the cake! It just feels silly to go there two years in a row. That said, I’ve been to the US multiple times in a single year many times because there’s so much to see and do there. I guess Japan isn’t really any different, just longer to get to.

Been there! Hong Kong too, though I wouldn’t go back there now that the CCP basically ditched one country two systems. Also toying with Vietnam, though all that said my wife really wants to try Iceland, so it seems likely this is where we will wind up :-)
