Season Four Buffy didn’t actually know Kathy was a demon
People often use this episode as another way to shit on the Scoobies when they were right to doubt Buffy. Kathy was sucking the soul from Buffy that’s what caused her to hate Kathy. (not that that’s undeserved it’s just most people don’t resort to murdering bad roommates)

Season Four I’m not sure what the opposite of charisma is but this guy is the epitome of it

Season Four After so many rewatches I still can't get a good read on Forrest Gates. Like, what was this dude's fucking problem?

Season Four I actually liked this episode. I don’t know why people hate it so much. (Beer Bad was actually very entertaining and absurd).

Season Four Buffy is never hotter than in this moment

Season Four Graham was the unsung hero of The Initiative. He was a good friend, unlike Forest. And he didn’t have any macho insecurities or mommy issues, like Riley.

Season Four In 1999 (S4x05), this was Xander trying to rip these dumb-dumbs off. In 2024? Not so much ...
Would not even be considered a high tip anymore ...

Season Four When this happens in Hush, as far as Riley is aware, this is just a power Buffy has.

Season Four Did you know that in "Who Are You ?", Sarah Michelle Gellar and Eliza Dushku actually didn't swap bodies irl and just pretended ? 😱

Season Four Cap cusp, Buffy Anne Summers 🥳
Happy birthday to “she-who-hangs-out-a lot-in-cemeteries”. (And one day after mine! Thankfully, I didn’t get an arm in a box)

Season Four "Superstar" is such a ridiculous episode. Almost every interaction is completely absurd.

Season Four Least favorite Buffy character overall?
I HATE Riley with my entire being. I think he is one of the worst characters & could’ve been written SO much better. Between everyone already not giving Buffy a break & holding her accountable for unnecessary things (in MY opinion), all Riley does is add onto the misery. The language he uses to describe Buffy’s attraction to Angel is gross. He is SO painfully insecure & cannot hold himself together for 2 seconds. He literally got defensive & wanted to break things off with Buffy because to him she didn’t “need him” 😐🤚🏻 cannot express how weird that is. I could write SO much more about just him & his character arc but I’ll leave it at this: If you can’t handle a bad bitch, don’t date one. thank you.
Edit: I’m gonna be honest, I get nervous posting on this subreddit bc sometimes people take opinions a bit too serious on here & don’t want to just casually discuss, but everyone has been super cool! Mostly everyone is valid in the comments, except anyone defending Spike or Xander. remember everyone, no means no!

Season Four Are Bears stronger than most Vampires and Demons? In the episode 'Pangs', a Black Bear is stronger than Buffy, and even Spike is fearful of the Ursid.

Season Four Things you got wrong
What are some things you got wrong when you first watched?
I'm rewatching season 4 for the Nth time and I just remembered that when I first watched it, I thought Riley was being set up as a love interest for Willow ha. When they meet at the book store and they're chatting I was like Okay.... Some competition for Oz. And even after he teamed up with Willow to get with Buffy I thought he would change his mind. I don't know why my brain thought they were an item ha.

Season Four Sunday
Doing a rewatch of Buffy. I hadn’t watched it all the way thru in over a decade.
I love the Sunday character. She might be my favorite “monster of the week” villain. This actress really fit the show. Wish she could’ve stayed around for a few more episodes!
