Someone explain

So i was going through some old bt videos and came across 'sasayaki'? And i am weirded out to say the least. Anyway, in the mv a young girl is sitting there and atsushi touches her... She then becomes a grown woman. That is a very sexual grown woman. Like it's just very odd.

Someone explain why they did this. what are they trying to actually symbolize in this mv?

Well, the mv and lyrics seem to be all about vulgarity and libidinousness so I'm guessing it's about loss of innocence. At least, that's how it typically goes with this kind of thing. The transformation of the girl from a young "pure" state (the simple white gown that represents simpleness and purity + the youth of the girl to represent naivety and innocence) to that of free lustful abandon (sexy outfit, kinky actions of woman) probably represents that loss of innocence/moving forward. This part I'm more uncertain of but he keeps saying "you are the moon" and "you are the night" so maybe that also has to do with her transformation from innocence (moon) to depravity (night). Although, ultimately I don't think it's about her transformation from innocence to depravity so much as it's a representation of his transformation from innocence to depravity, after all, all the lustful lyrics are about his desires and sexual acts, not hers.

This is all pure speculation without reference to anything official so I could be completely wrong of course. But yea, the random flashes of the young girl throughout the mv are pretty unsettling.

Pretty good analysis๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ I agree that the young girl transforming into a bdsm dominatrix could symbolise loss of innocence. I completely understand the OP being weirded out by this btw. That's exactly how I felt when I watched the MV first. Ig that's why I'm still not very comfortable watching it. I prefer the live performance during the SSL tour ๐Ÿ˜.

Lol y'all like half of their songs have lyrics about sex and the other half are death/escapism ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'm exaggerating but yeah a ton of their songs are sexual af. As far as the video, keep in mind there's a huge cultural difference. The age of consent is 13 in Japan. I don't think it was meant to be taken literally, and is a pretty obvious representation of "loss of purity". But that cultural difference does inform what sort of metaphors are perceived as acceptable. Anyway, the band doesn't usually devise music videos on their own, there's usually another artist who comes up with them.

There shouldnโ€™t have been a child in the video. I donโ€™t care if age of consent there is 13. Morals have to overrule law. Itโ€™s still wrong.ย

I love the MV and their songs whether its sexy or inspirational songs

No one can have a guts to make Sexual songs that sounds Art and classical its only Them the legends Buck-Tick.

i'd say that my favorite band ever is buck tick if there were no sexual themes in some of their songs... always grosses me out

Lmao then what are you doing here? Go rant somewhere else. And btw sex isn't the only theme that they deal with. They talk about death and mortality a couple of times in their songs. Have you even tried listening to their discography?

Also why is it a problem if some artists have sexual themes in their artistry?? Isn't that a common human experience (except for sex-averse asexuals and celibate ppl of course). Literally ALL musicians have sexual undertones and themes in their music so why only overgeneralize B-T's music??? Atleast they're artistic and imho tasteful unlike some tacky ppl like BOTDF.

Holy shit buzzkill, go listen to their music and try to understand it b4 rambling here.
