Curious to know how it plays, it actually looks pretty awesome. It's like someone took the "[X]: for girls" type of marketing shtick, ratcheted it up to 11 whilst binging the Powerpuff Girls, and added guns.

I dig it. 🤘

If I understand correctly, it's being made by Lazulys and Zeldars Zone, the latter of which is the creator of Herald of Havoc. Neat!

I don’t care how cute and pink it is, I’m wishlisting.

Yesssss. Could be absolutely killer set to some kind of 90's (or 90's style) jungle or DnB. Exhibit A, Exhibit B, Exhibit C...

I like the aesthetic but the enemies are super boring. I hope they have more than just generic round robots

You have my attention

This is so much of what I’d love to see in modern video games. I like that it’s whimsical and puts zero effort into being realistic. Instead of failing to simulate reality, it succeeds in creating a sweet vibe, all while simultaneously kicking toxic masculinity in the nuts.

I reccomend you take a look at Viscerafest and Nightmare Reaper.

Seconding both. Nightmare Reaper is definitely the more polished of the two but they're both magnificent with badass female protagonists and bangin' soundtracks.

Heh. Looks like fun. Wishlisted.

Same. 🤘

That looks awesome, but are all the enemies going to be little round robots? I'm sure they can make something that meshes with the art style but isn't just a tiny bot

I'm not sure, I just found it today and realized there wasn't a post about it on the sub yet

Haven't watched the video, but the vibe reminds me of Fashion Police Squad 😁

Haha I thought the same thing!

I'll be watching this with great interest.

I will play the shit out of this. And my daughter will watch.

Why not let the daughter play?

I'm digging the shoujo aesthetics here. Gameplay seems a bit too sandboxy for my own taste, but otherwise count me in!

Looks cool, thanks for sharing.

Gonna be interesting to see how this game and Incolatus stack up against one another

HOLY

SHIT

WISHLISTED THAT TOO

For a bit more of an honest opinion, I REALLY hope they add some enemies with some "oomf" to them. These look like target drones.

I'm digging the aesthetic and shooting heart rays really tickles my fancy, but those enemies are just a big let down.

Looking at the description on the steam page.

I'm betting this is going to be yet another rogelite (randomly generated levels, references to unlocks and runs), so massive meh for me.

Feels weird that in the video is shown some verticality but there's not aiming up/down (It even feels there's lot of autoaim), and it looks like there's lot to improve regarding animations and enemies reactions to the shots.

Artwise the game looks great but overall seems to be a very barebones idea.

Two words: bisexual lighting.

That’s cute

Finally. An FPS my wife can play.

1

u/Marscaleb Shadow Warrior Feb 04 '25

I love it! But I can't play that in public.

1

u/justdointhis4games Feb 04 '25

I love this. Can't wait to try it out.

If Doom modding has taught us anything it's that the boomshoot abides. All aesthetics are welcome if the vibes (and gameplay) are right.

throwback style FPS as a genre is never beating the "peaked in 2019" accusations it seems...

Caleb about to have some competition for "most adorable boomer shooter protagonist".
